A small quandry...

So this is one of those probably silly question threads.

I was talking to DM about our trip (2 weeks on Saturday woot!), and she turns round and says to me "Do you think we would be able to go to AKL instead of POFQ?". First of all this completely floored me because I had no idea the thought had even crossed her mind! Basically we were at AKL last year and it was our favourite resort and holiday EVER!!

My quandry is -

We have POFQ booked for Free Dining from 23-30th August. The AKL isn't showing any availability on the Disney website. Would we have any better luck getting this resort over the phone or when we arrive at the POFQ could we enquire about switching to AKL or AKV? Oh, and the all important question, can we keep our free dining in tact?

it's highly unlikely you'd be able to keep the free dining...
however, the only way to find out for sure is to ask...
call them and see what they say...

Yes, I think you're going to have to make a call. I wouldn't want to torture myself by waiting and wondering, and neither would I want the hassle of moving resorts immediately after checking in.

If you booked with Disney in the US and they have availability with the free dinning code you should be able to. Check out the US resort boards for how to do this.

If you have booked in the UK I would highly doubt you would be able to change at this stage.

not for this year i don't think....i thought they ended reservations for it in june......

It will be intresting to see if Disney will allow it because AKL wasn't on the UK deal,I looked!
