A small gift for FDH, IDEAS?

Hello,

I want to arrange / get my DF a small gift when we got to florida in March, as he ogt me my ring, and i really want to get him something back. I'm sure there has already been a thread where this has been asked but i cannot find any that really awnsers my question.

I also want to give him a gift before our wedding next Nov (2010), a few nights before the wedding.

I dont want the 'engagement' gift given to him in March to be anything really big or expensive, and im open with ideas for the wedding gift.

Did you get your Husbands to be presents? Engagement presents or wedding presents? If so, then what did you do / get?

I am open to all ideas and suggestions so if you have any, then please let me know!!

I got my df the thomas kinkade "Cinderellas Castle".... I thought it would be something to telll our kids "Mom and dad had their honeymoon there and got married" lol

I gave it to him before we went to disney last year, along with a painting I made for him, give me a second ill see if i can find it

I would definitely get it. I invested in the largest one because I figured when we have a house it will look beautiful over the mantle....

Paintings, espesially Kinkade are always going up in price! Do you have any dealers over the in UK you can talk to?

This is what I got my DF.

Its a statue of the Dark Knight Joker. He is a Batman freak so he was thrilled. I already gave it to him since I didn't want to bring it down to Florida.

I am going to just give him a card to open in Disney.

I gave DH a nice Disney watch with the back engraved with a personal message and our wedding date. I also got a very nice card for him. We both got each other gifts and gave them to the MOH/BestMan the night before to give to the other the morning of the wedding. It worked out great and he loves his watch!

I am writing a journal and everyday I try to thnk of one thing from the past to write about in the journal. I'm asking his best man to give it to him the morning of.... I think the watch is such a nice idea I want to find one now!

We got this watch for the all the guys in our bridal party. We had them personalized also. We got the girls the same watch but a smaller face and a red band. I surprised my DH with the same watch (and I got one for me too). We also got the same watch for both our dads.

I also surprised my DH with Mickey cufflinks for the wedding day.
