Okay we are all set for our trip. Staying at SSR as DVC members for 8 nights, dh, ds, dd & myself. I booked the DDP for this part of our trip (we will be hitting Universal for two days afterwards and then back for a big family gathering for another week w/o the DDP). So everything is set, right?

DH informs me that he is going to have to fly out for a meeting for 4 of our 8 nights. So the kids and I will just have some extra meals to get in on our own. I think we can do it, but I have one question. We will have 3 adult TS left over. Will I be able to use an adult TS to pay for a childs meal? I know you can't do it the other way around but thought maybe since it would be cheaper on Disney that they may allow it. What do you guys think?

The system isn't structured to accept an adult credit and reduce child meal 'inventory'. However, you can probably negotiate something with your server.

Couldn't you allow one (or both) of your children to order off the adult menu. Either that or book a couple of signature restaurants and pay OOP for the kids :confused3

You surely could do either of those things. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for the help. You know when somemthing is thrown on you at basically the last minute your mind does not work all that well. I may try to book a signature restuarant if there is anything available this late in the game.

Thanks again!
