We take the bus back to the main visitor center. My son wants to go to the play area now.
They have a huge indoor play area. The ac is soo nice. But it is hard to keep track of your kid.

More play area pics.



We were in the play area for a very long time. My son and seemed like all the kids loved it. We loved it for the ac!
It takes a while but we do leave the play area after a long time.
We check out the cool mars rover.

And of course check out the nasa gift store.



We buy some things. I will post them in the next post.
There is still more to explore but my son is done. We will be here again since the 2 day tickets were almost the same cost as one day ticket. Soo we will explore more when we come back.

Soo we needed to do a grocery run. We were out of a few things. So we stopped by a grocery story before heading back to our room.... the heavens opened up on our drive and it was crazy rainstorm. Man the roads were flooding! We could not see anything... not fun..driving in Florida is scary... lol.
We make it to the grocery store and we wait for the rain to calm down a bit before we head out of the car. It is a bit of wait. Lol.
But we do get out and shop and then head back to our room.
We are bit more wet now... lol.

Here are the things we bought.
The earth is a magnet. The ornaments was on sale!


This nasa shirt is soft and was on the clearance rack so I grabbed this shirt.


My son talked my mom into Lego nasa.


My mom got this magnet and ornament.
The pin for my son and was on sale!


And we got my son this cool shirt. It glows in the dark too!


Then we eat dinner here. Grabbed some dinner from the grocery store. yummy and cheap is always nice!


And that was our nasa day! Overall we loved Nasa. Soo many cool experiences and artifacts. The drive is really easy... esp if there is no crazy rain storm. We are happy we got the 2 day ticket since we were not able to do everything in one day.

Day 8:
AK again. We really love this park.


We got right when they opened up but not like rope drop... where we waited for them to open. So we were right behind the major crowds but still only resort guest.

We saw up characters out greeting guests!
Man I just love seeing all these characters out and about more.




Is their a better way to start the day then getting hug by Dug? I don't think so!



Today we are going to Everest first and just skipping the mad rush of the Pandora in the mornjng.
Man I love this strategy. We just walked on!

We went on a 2nd time!

Next safari open up so we head over while the line is short. Safari tends to open up a little later than other rides.

My son again took my phone and took all the pics during the safari. We can never get tired of this ride.

We head down to Pandora now. And I think this is a solid strategy. Little less crowded. The area is soo bueatiful and we get our pics done here.






We das avatar ride this time instead of the mash rush and my son loves this way more. Think this will be our strategy from now on since the mad rush their always stressed him out and was on the edge of melt downs and just do Everest.


Next we das the smaller Pandora ride. It is not that long of yet still.




This ride is pretty but really needs something more to it. And we only got the screen version at the end

Next we let my son lead and just checking out animals.





Our next big thing we wanted to do is eat at Nomad lounges. I sit in the line forming before it opens while my mom and my son explore my animals around.


Then they open up and let us in.


Nomads lounge is soo lovely. They ask us outside on the deck or inside.
We choose inside for the AC.
First drinks! I get hibiscus drink, I love those kind of fun drinks and I think my mom get the tempting tigress drink.


We order the bread service of course.

Day 6:
Epcot day and 626 day! Which for all of stitch fans is unofficial stich day. So we wear all of our stitch merch today

We are doing rope drop again like always. So we eat breakfast in our room and head out to our bus. The busses here have been soo convenient and just look how empty they are.

We go to our first line and I notice how close we are to the front so we will go with mad rush to Gardians ride.

They have u que up in different stages. So first putside the ride then they move u thorough. I love all the details of this ride. Soo does my son since he is a huge marvel fan.

We make it on the ride pretty quickly once the park opens up.

Rope dropping this was such a great way to start. This is my fav ride in all of Wdw.
We always just stay to the sides since the pre-show can get squishy and that can cause my son issues.

I get the special pride drink! Love fun rainbow drinks!


Have to stir though for it to taste good. Lol.

Then ended on the churros! These are the only good churros in WDW. Every bite was great!


We head out to go see the nemo show and we spot Kevin!

Cannot follow him since we want to make the show.



We really liked the show and as always we are a fan of the ac in the indoor shows.
And man do I love the puppets! I am all about real live actors for things.

Wow, you were in Disney on 6/26 day? I was in Disney too! It was resort hopping and Disney Springs that day for me.

Nice! Apparently stitch was roaming around in Epcot but we did not see him. Wish disney did more offically for 626 day.

They did offer a bunch of exclusive drinks leading up though. I actually tried both their Ohana Horchata from a Joffrey’s truck just after I watched a movie in the AMC 24, and their other blue drink from the poutine stand.

Next we ride the Dinosour.

My son is still soo sad this will be leaving soon.

Next dino snacks time.

My son really wanted to try this treat.




What was in the egg was just a dinosaur candy. I would not get this again... there was not much too it. But my son liked it so there is that.
I got the icecream cookie! Now this is the real winner here soo good! It was strawberry shortcake one which is the best one!

This thing is big, I share it with my mom.
My mom got drinks for us while we were getting icecream. Then met up inside Restaurantosaurus. A nice place to sit inside with ac!

Here is a pic of both of our drinks. They were very refreshing.


Next my son wanted to play at the bone yard again. Man does he love this place.



I love that they have such a huge digging area for kids.


After playing my son said he is done for the day. So we head back to the room. So we had back and catch the bus.

I need to run... so I decide to go for a run... and since it was do hot on the treadmill... might as well run outside.




Our resort has a decent running path that I can loop that is little over a mile.

Man that was a hot run... well it is good training for me for Wine and dine rundisney race I am doing in Oct... sometimes the weather can still be hot in oct. I was very hot and sticky after that run soo showers for sure. Then the family just ate left overs in our room for dinner. Then relaxed and went to bed. It is so nice having a place to relax after being in park all morning.

Hollywood studios day! We got this park down for rope drop.

We head off Smugglers run, while everyone else goes to ride. Such a great strategy for us and less crowds which keeps my son happier longer.






We get our ride done. My son being the gunner like always. He really just wants to shoot all the things. Lol.


Then we take the back way to toy story land... again the best short cut. Not crowded at all yet and then hop on to toy story mania. Still a walk on. Man I remember rushing to get fast passes for this ride. Lol.

We always have so much fun in with this ride.
Next still really short wait on alien swirling saucers soo time to swing!


Again my son does love this ride.

Next we go back way to start wars area again to ride Rise. That was the ride we das. It was back up and we had a small melt down here. He really does not do well in the tunnels when he can not see the end. But we make it through! And he is all smiles being on his fav ride.





Next it is a shor wait still on star tours so we head over there next.

On star tours we even got Asohka and space whales! Soo cool! I loove Asohka... u may notice my dress is Asohka inspired.

Next we relax at the tables next to star tours and eat some food we packed. We have shade and table!

Next up we cross the heat ... crossing the middle of HS is just hot!

To Slinky dog dash that is our next das ride.


On our way out we see some more characters. Woody high fives my son.



Next we go back to the middle of the park... why is it soo hot? Lol. Anyways I see the line is super short so we get a pick infort of Chinese theater.

Next we das the Villians show.
So we made out way down the other side... and man is there not shade...
But at least the show is in ac!
Wow this stage is bueatiful!


The show is super cute. I wish they did more villains. Or newer ones. My son had me voting for hook and hook is the one who won with us. I like that it has some audience participation.

Next we want a little treat! My mom and son grabs a shaded seat while I get the ice cream. I am eyeing this ap special!


My son gets just vanilla icecream of course. Lol.

We liked the ap ice cream. It is fun getting special treat for only ap and yes they did check I had ap to buy it. The waffle tasted a little stale but the icecream and toppings were fantastic and honestly in this heat really hit the spot and was a great shareable with my mom.
We also ate the rest of our packed lunch while we were seated in the shade.
We did some shopping. We got shirts for my husband and my dad. We got them the same shirt because they both love golf shirts and this shirt is a banger! Look at that cool texture on it.

We also saw a cool classic star wars shirt that my son looved so we had to get. You don't see these classic shirts as much anymore.

Then we go on to our last ride which we das.
Mickey runaway railway.




I love conga on this ride!

Then we head back to our resort. Man the busses are just soo convenient.

And we then relax in our room and cool down.

We decide we really have not hit up disney springs enough being just a boat ride away. So after a little bit of relaxing we hop on the boat.
Okay I just love this boat! Why are we not riding this..... ohh yeah my son is done in the afternoon. But my son was feeling good enough that as long as he had his tablet and we do not expect anything from him that he will come along. Soo off we go!

After our relaxing boat ride we try out our first restruant which is right next to our entrance, Eet!

And we came during happy hour half off all drinks!
So I found out the June Pride rainbow drink that had a unicorn is gone They just replaced it even though it is still June because Flavors of Florida is happening.
They have this drink instead so we order it.

I am a little sad... the octopus is cute but it is not an unicorn.. lol. I do get to pick out what i get. I choose the one with cute heart glasses.

We also got the standard drink, the elephant drink here.


Both mom and me shared the drinks ee like the orginal the best but the octopus drink was still good.
We also ordered a shareable. Which was soo yummy to snack on it.

Ahh love the pride sign soo cute.


We are trying to decide what to do next... the clouds are starting to look iffy... but the radar says we should be fine for a little bit.

We decide to try out this margarita place.

They had key lime margaritas for the flavor of Florida going on that looked great.
I get in line and grab our drinks and go sit down.





While mom and my son try to find a bathroom. By the time they came back the storm was look like it was moving in closer. And the music and bar started packing up.

Well it starts raining 🌧
We take our drinks and look for a place where we can sit out of the rain we find a spot at Ghirardelli which is close by... people everywhere are trying to duck for cover. Lol. We get an outside table that is under cover. Inside is really crowded. So the outside table works and we drink our margaritas. These are good. Man I should have took a pic of the rain but it was the hard down poor and lighting and thunder kind of FL storm. Glad we found cover. No one is leaving this store.
Our plan is just wait it out. People say the storms pass quickly.
And our margaritas are done... but it is still pouring.
I found out they have bathrooms here, score!! So I go the bathroom then buy a chocolate strawberries for the group cause those are my favorite things and some water to drink. And noticed people had ponchos from the store. So I ask about them. They only had 2 left... eep... we have three. Then the lady went to go check with the other register to see if they had any and they had 2 more so we were able to get 3. They are almost sold out soo I bought them quickly.
So now each have a chocolate strawberry and a poncho!

We chill and wait for the storm to lighten up.
It slowly lighten ups... I wanted to wait longer... but my mom was getting antsy. So against my thoughts we go and brave the rain. We cannot take the boats they are down during storms soo we have to walk longer to get to the buss stop. It was lighter and no lightening now but still sucked. The ghirardelli ponchos were better quality then disney ones though so that was nice.

We reach the disney store. I tell my mom let's walk through the store that way we stay dry longer she said no... she does not want to go into the crowds... we may have had a bit of an argument about which way to go... and we said we will just meet back at up at the room. Lol... ohh storms bring people together.

So my son and me walk through the big store and basically try and stay under something the whole time while making it back to the busses.

We make it to the bus and it was just about to leave. I was hoping mom would be on it and she was not... I thought she would be faster than us since she was walking a direct route.

I called her to find out where she was and she decided she would wait at the exit of the disney store... there are way to many exits.... so she was not waiting at the one we exited so we missed each other. Even though I never told her to do that and lets just meet back at the room. Well she is not happy with us... since she thought we left her... ohh well family drama. She said she told everyone she was left behind... lol even though she is the one who wanted to split off from the group. Is it a family trip without a little drama?

We get dropped off and they have activities going on under the cover for guests. My son joins in.


Mom makes it to the room and I have a drink made for her as a sorry.
We chill and relax in the room for the rest of the night and head to bed.

And now we joke about about the epic storm.
