A Sizzling Hot Summer in WDW TR June/July 2025

Next we head over to our reservation at Tusker house. We got a lunch reservation when we heard that AP in June Mon-Thur get 40% off their Tusker house lunch or dinner meal! Soo of course we had to book it. Tusker house is our fav character buffet meal. We have only done breakfast before so we were eager to try their lunch and we love all things AK food!

As we all over my son checks out some more animals..my son loves this park.


We check in. We have a reservation right at the start at lunch in hope of getting a little breakfast cross over too... since I love their simba waffles. 11:05 is the soonest lunch reservation you can get.
We are seated and we put in our drinks order.
Then we are off. To see if breakfast is still there... score! Simba waffles!


I loove the banana Carmel syrup that have for it!
First up we had Donald Duck.

Love the character interactions here. They spend time with u and are soo cute in their outfits. They each sign my sons book too.


I got a yummy drink of course.

Mickey!


We go up for lunch now.
Soo many delicious options!
I stuffed my plate.

The curry is soo good on the rice.
The mac and cheese is soo good!
The meats are soo flavorful here!
Ohh and the soups!! You always have to try the soup!! It is soo good!


For peaky eaters they have a kid area.
My son loved the chicken tenders and fruit.


Next up goofy he was soo funny with my son.



Then dessert.



Lunch is soo good yummy here and the characters are great here!

40% off was soo good too!!



We leave Tusker house... soo stuffed and full!

The musicians were out. I love them, we dance with them.


We work on some more badges.


More animals, my son loves animals.

Thank u! They are from my rundisney marathon outfit when I was running as red panada from turning red. It was a couple of years ago... but I think mad hatter company on etsy.

Next we were there when they were doing a feeding with the gorillas. Soo cool how they spread them all out and make sure they feed them the exact same time so there is no competition between them.




Next we go to the bird flight show.
My son has been looking forward to this after seeing AK show on disney+.









My son looved this show. I was delightfully surprised on how much I enjoyed it. It is funny and super cute. First time we have seen it.

It is hot, my son and my mom are melting. Lol.
So we head back to the car to go back to the room. We only seem to be making it till 1ish each day.

I want to do a pic... my mom said she is too hot. So goes to the car to turn on the ac.

We do the cute little frame area right outside the gates.




Ohh also forgot that we met Daisy earlier in the day! She had almost no line... so we hopped in and she is such a fashion icon.




The ac was wonderful in the car.
And everyone is still hot. Soo we decided let's cool off in the pool!

My son loves the slide here.

And they had a pool ball game going that my son had soo much fun playing with the cm.



Overall the pool is nice way to cool down. Shade is an issue here and.... there is sand!! My son stayed away from the sand... lol.

I decide it times for me to workout. I did a run on the treadmill.

The workout room is soo small in OKW and the wonderful ac they have in the rooms is not extended here. They keep the room so hot. It was hottest treadmill run I have ever done.



And as I pass quick service I had to get my fav key lime pie ice cream pop.
I loove these!! This is my newest addiction and I don't see them around any where but OKW.

Then some simple dinner from Costco.
It is amazing how u can still be full from those huge buffets!




Then a nice long shower and bed time.

Day 5:
Another early morning!
We get on the first bus over to MK! So we can rope drop.


Ahh mainstreet always so magical.


I like that they now have the crowds wait intfront of the ride instead of those big mass crowds they had before. My son was not a fan of those big mass crowds.
We head over to Peter Pan. Most are heading to mine train and some are already heading to Tron even though tron does not open up for early morning.
We get in a nice place a sit.


And once the park opens we walk right in to the ride. Soo nice.


My son looves this ride!


And I love not having to wait in a long line for a ride that to meet is over hyped. Soo everyone is happy.

Next we head off to our next ride and we spot Rapunzel and Flynn!

We then walk and chat. Soo fun.


Then next we saw Princess Elena of Avalor and we walked and chatted with her.



Then chip and dale!


Man this feels like Disneyland with all the characters out walking around! We love it.
We go on buzz light year ride next, it still is a walk on and we all loved shooting rides.

Then next we went to speedway. It is still very short line and my son looves it and since it is fully in the heat we thought best to do it now before it gets to hot.








I wish they updated this ride... but my son has soo much fun with it.

Next we go to the tea cups. The line is still super short and tea cups is one of my mom's fav. And then we noticed the Alice and Mad hatter are riding with a couple on the ride. They are waving and having fun with everyone.

Man the characters are everywhere! It really brings life to MK.

Then after the ride, they go over to a spot for pics!
So we go over to their spot since it is really short.
Man they are a fun meet! The mad hatter is a hoot! They thought our Aulani autograph book was soo cool.









Next we go to Little Mermaid ride. Another walk on. We are doing soo good hitting up rides that have little to no waits and the air-conditioned ride is soo nice in the heat.

Next we head over Storybook Circus. We get cooled off quickly walking through the water play area. Soo nice a cool spot.


Then we head to Dumbo another quick line and we see more disney characters! They are having fun riding the ride! They are soo cute! Man the characters are everywhere today!

Then our turn.



Always a classic!

My son has fun talking to stilts man.


Next we go off to Barnstormer since it is another short wait and the train arrives!

I love this walk way a lot less crowded. We das Tron.

Next we head down mainstreet for our next reservations that I am soo excited about. We got a haircut for my son at the barbershop! This will be the first time we have done this here. It only cost around $20!!! The best deal in disney.

We check in and wait outside. There is not much room in the barbershop. Then they call us in.





And they give him pixe dust!



He looks so handsome



Overall we loved this!!! Soo affordable. The cms here are so nice and know how to keep kids happy while getting their hair cut. Also they can only take tips with cash so make sure u bring some cash.
My son told everyone about his hair cut and pixie dust all day long.

After that we found a bench in the shade near the barbershop and had our lunch. We packed our lunch. Soo sandwiches. I don't think I have mentioned this yet by my disney backpack has a cooler in it so keeps our food nice. It is soo nice to just eat and relax on mainstreet bench.
I notice the line had died down to almost nothing so after lunch we go get our pictures taken on mainstreet. We want to show off my sons cute haircut too.








By the point my son and my mom are all complaining about the heat so we are going to do just one more ride. We planned on Tinas as our last ride soo if my son gets to wet we can go and change. He does not do well with wet clothes. So we head down and cm says please move to the side a parade is coming. I love that they kept these smaller parades. We were in a spot no one else was in soo all the characters paid attention to my son... which he loved!

This is our first time on the ride, it is soo cute.




And we were not drenched! Yeah!

We back to the bus and we see the balloons. We normally do not get balloons since akl does not allow them cause of the animals.
We decided now or never. My son is soo happy! He picked out mickey and minnie balloons.





When we came back to the room and we found out the stuffed characters have been arranged very cute.


We then chill out and relax for bit. Then change for dinner. We have a great night out planned.
We will being going over to Corando Springs for a night out on the town.

Both us want to drink soo we take the busses over. We take the first bus that goes to Epcot, HS, or Ak and then take a transfer bus to Corando Springs. It takes a little bit of time but not to bad at all.

We walk into the tower. It is very beautiful. Seems like a deluxe resort not a moderate.

We walk out of the tower and see the map.

We walk to 3 bridges. The walk is hot! No shade just sun and heat!


We wanted to try sangria flights.




These flights are amazing!

My son gets a burger. Where we are going to next my son does not have anything he will really like.

Three bridges gets a great breeze too and feels very nice in the nice.
At some point we need to eat a real dinner here. So much of the food looks good.

We walk back to the tower in th heat. Man this resort is big!
We go up the elevator all the way to the top to go to our reservation at Toledos.

I am soo excited to try this restaurant.
It is only 1 of 2 restaurant in WDW that has earned a Michelin star! And the best part we get 40% off!!!

We check in and check out the balcony. The views from here are amazing. You can see everything.
