This is so friggin cute! I have a feeling I am going to be making another pin purchase real soon! :rolleyes1

Oh that is adorable.

They've updated Disneyland on Google Maps!

Here's the link!

You can see the Carsland area getting started. The platform in the water from when they were still constructing WOC, and the Silly Symphony Swings are also getting constructed. Also if you look at the entrance to Disneyland, you can see the Mickey garden is different than it used to be. When I first started planning this trip I studied the parks on this site, lol. Which is how I can see all the differences. Anyways, I thought it was kind of exciting to see all the things that are happening there.

Huh, I was just re-reading some of my trip report, just to see how much my trip has changed since I started it.

I had to laugh at the post that said I would never consider going to Six Flags or anything on the trip....guess plans have changed more than I thought!

Isn't it funny how your plans change? I always change my mind several times during the planning process.

Today is Michael Jackson day for me. I am trying not to be sad. So far so good. I am planning on watching This Is It, sometime tonight, so I think that is when the sadness will kick in. I have never been this upset over someone dying before. Not even my own grandfather. Of course I was sad, but I didn't know him as well as i'd have liked to. Anyways, RIP Michael, I miss you. :sad1:

I hope that picture shows up, cause it's not showing up on my work computer as usual. I can upload it, and view it from picasa, but not see it on the disboards? Weird!

I started planning when there was just over 9 months, so I am 2/3 of the way through!!! That feels good!

In 31 days (I messed up on my counting last week when I said 27 :headache:) I am going to book our WOC dining package for Ariels Grotto. I think we are all pretty much set on that. Then I don't know what day to book Cafe Orleans. Then it's PCH Grill.

I don't know the best day for morning maddness will be. It will be Saturday or Tuesday during our trip. Is it best to get in there early on a Saturday morning (it's going to be busy with Gay Days) or to do it Tuesday before our breakfast? :confused3

Well, because it is Gay Days I am thinking that Saturday would be your best day to use it.

Yeah maybe that would be the best day. I am thinking we will try and spend all of Saturday in DL. I guess I will just see how it goes, and it also depends on crowds. If it's too busy, we can head over to DCA or DTD. I am really hoping they play normal fireworks on non Halloween Party days. I really want to see that Dumbo part everyone is talking about. Even though there's a 95% chance that I will cry.

Just remember if you cry you won't be alone. People tend to cry over things like that when in Disneyland. DCA is usually never as crowded as Disneyland.

Oh! And only 18 days until we can get our Halloween Party tickets!!! And I am probably going to order at least 2 of our park passes that day too. Still not sure if we are going to take the chance to wait for airmiles to put October's passes up. They still have the summer one up at the moment.

Wow, I have a LOT of catching up to do! So many PTR's and TR's to read! I thought being on vacation would give me more time to do those things, but I found myself to be busy pretty much the entire week!

Starting on Wednesday, we got to go home early from work at 2. I already had almost everything packed, so all I had to do was make a quick stop at Walmart, then run home and grab Mya (my little Chihuahua) to head to Calgary for the week. Dillon was going to come down in his own car once he got off work. I was planning on staying in Calgary longer than him, so we took separate vehicles.

We were staying at a friends for the first few nights. Her husband had been out of town for a few weeks. He recently got a job working in Russia. He is rotating with one month in Russia, one month home. It's hard for her while he is in Russia, cause they have 2 children, but the month that he is home, he doesn't work. 6 months off a year sounds pretty good to me! Anyways, Dillon stayed home to watch the kids that night so we girls could go see Eclipse! We also saw a matinee of it a few days later, once her husband had been home from Russia for a couple days.

The next few days we had a concert, a trip to the zoo, and a whole bunch of other things. Then I spent a couple nights at my Mom's to get some family time in. Once I got home on Wednesday, I had a fairly relaxing night with Dillon, then another friend was wanting to see Eclipse, so I went to that with her on Thursday. Did some shopping. Got most of my wardrobe for the trip as well as my suitcase.

A friend came down for the weekend from Edmonton, so I spent a lot of time with him and our group the last few days. Yesterday I managed to talk 4 guys into coming to Eclipse with me. Don't ask me how I did it. It surprisingly didn't take as much effort as you'd think. In total I have now seen Eclipse 4 times. So I didn't really have a lot of time to do anything productive at home or relax on the computer for very long. Hopefully now that I am back on a routine, I can get back into the excitement of planning this trip!

78 days to go!!!!!! Woohoo!!! :woohoo:

This friday I am going to order all the tickets for Dillon and I. Garrett and Grace have chosen to opt out of the Halloween Party, which is understandable. So I will be ordering 2 five day park hoppers, 2 MHP tickets, and 2 Six Flags tickets. I will just have to keep on Garrett's case to make sure he orders his tickets well in advance just so we know he gets them on time.

So I decided to order my Six Flags tickets today to get it over with. I am so excited, cause it makes things seem like they are more set in stone! Friday will be a thousand times more exciting when I have purchased my DL tickets! :dance3:

My Mom told me today that she is planning a random trip to Southern California next month and said that Disney is not on her touring plans. :scared1: I must have got my Disney genes all on my own! How can you be in Southern California and not have Disneyland at the top of the list of places to see???? :sad2:

Yay for you!!

Your mom is silly. Doesn't she realize that Disneyland is "the" thing to do in Southern California?:rotfl:
