A Sister & Brother Return! The Trip Report! Updated 10/31--Page 23!

I'll look forward to seeing the pictures when I get home tonight. Red X boxes right now here at school - not so fun.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween down there in the sunny south!

Nicole, I hate for it to end. Looking forward to hearing about the birthday trip.

I'm so sad that your trip is at an end :sad1: I saw something on youtube about a Disney Cruise surprise for your parents - is that true? I thought I recognized you and David on the video. That is too awesome!

Oh Nicole, I really enjoyed reading your TR and am so so sad that its almost finished :(

Thank you for sharing yours and David's wonderful trip with us. I have hope for the boys to do the same in 12 or so more years when Jake is 20 and Sam is 17. (This is one of the main reasons why I finally decided to take the DVC plunge.)

Take Care....I hope to read many more amazing PTR's and TR's from you in the not-so-distant future. :)

Jen

Happy Day After Halloween !!!
Thanks for the great TR Nicole and David, it was fun to hear the good and bad. I think it would be hard to live in Florida and not go all the time. I would go all the time if I lived there, if life didn't get in the way. ;)

Okay, I got to see the pictures, and they are great! Right behind the palm tree in your OKW picture is where Jill, Brooklynn, and I sat and had some really good burgers one afternoon. You can see the umbrellas that cover the tables in your picture.

My picture is looking out from there toward where you took your picture from.

The sweet stuff looks sweeeeet. I'll take the one on top covered in nuts.

Loved the video. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you liked it. Not the best view of wishes but certainly a relaxing one

Very nice video. We saw Fourth of July fireworks from there, and that may be where we watch them again on this next trip. Maybe we can bring our own music, too!

I can't wait to see Wilderness Lodge all dressed up for Christmas! It makes the Lodge even more awesome than it already is.

Im so jealous you'll see the WL for xmas, i don't think we'll make it over there, maybe next year I can stay there! One can dream, right?

it's been a while but i'm all caught up now!

Hooray!

hi,
been MIa for awhile but just caught up to see it at the ending.

Great report and pics.

I saw AKL last week and understand why you like it, very nice resort.

Welcome back scott!

I am so sad that your TR is almost over -- I hope you have lots of birthday trip pictures to share!

I will definitely be sharing some birthday pictures! And when I saw the F&W spoon thing, I thought of you!

I'll look forward to seeing the pictures when I get home tonight. Red X boxes right now here at school - not so fun.

Thanks for the halloween wishes!

Nicole, I hate for it to end. Looking forward to hearing about the birthday trip.

Thanks, its coming soon!

Did you drink that whole Dole whip?

Of course!

That was us! The surprise is in the pre-trip report, i talk about it a bit there

I'm so excited for your DVC purchase! One day I will do the same!

Happy Day After Halloween !!!

I would go all the time too, but you realize that going too often can sometimes ruin the magic. There is so much excitement when your planning a trip and you haven't been there in a while. Believe me I feel blessed to be able to go as often as I do, I get withdrawals!

What a beautiful picture! The sweets are really good :) Can't wait for your thanksgiving trip I bet! :D

Nicole- bummer you are done, your pictures are fabulous and you really did a great job. I loved the whole thing! AKL rocks!!! I'm still debating on the DCL next year. My report is nearly done as well :guilty:

I know its been a while, I want to thank you all for sharing in this trip! I have my christmas trip coming up with Mom, i'm not sure i'll do a TR but I will definitely be doing one for the May Cruise/Trip which I just booked the land portion for David and myself and my parents (they are going on a 4 night cruise on the wonder while david and I stay land until they come back) so we all decided on Port Orleans French Quarter (love that place) and an even cooler part is that my aunt might come with my cousin Jessica (if you read my pre-tr you know the little girl who is obsessed with disney princesses!) Jess has never been, but is dreaming of going and I would love to be there when she sees everything for the first time!! My aunt is due next week with my new baby boy cousin, we're waiting to hear if she's in, i hope she is! Anyway, you all know I took a very quick trip with my cousin Michael for my birthday! Nothing better than being in Disney for your bday especially with MNSSHP and the F&W festival! We had a blast, we stayed at Pop, 70s section:

We saw Jill (Brooklynnsmommy) and family the first few moments we were there! They were going to Epcot to see Nemo according to Brooklynn and I caught up with them a different day to get a picture

That first night we went to downtown disney and than went to Kona Cafe where they surprised me with a birthday cake!

IMG_5430.jpg

First morning we hit epcot and made it to rope drop which has never happened to me before, i was excited to be there!

IMG_5446.jpg

We went to the character connection too, never did that either! While we were in there there was a Dream Squad member hanging out probably waiting, but nothing for us. She did have fun teasing the people on line, like the couple celebrating their 25th anniversary!

We did a lot of future world like soarin, test track, and spaceship earth but we were really excited for world showcase to open!

IMG_5465.jpg

This was our first F&W experience, and we had a blast!! We got Pomegranate wine from France, and sampled lots of food, we got one of those gift cards so it was a lot easier to get through the kiosks.

IMG_5475.jpg

OMG those crab cakes were so good

IMG_5478.jpg

We hung out around the World Showcase until it was time for a little break because that night was MNSSHP! We headed back to POP and found a surprise!

IMG_5488.jpg

IMG_5487.jpg

This was so awesome and totally made the trip!
MNSSHP was an....experience. It was a lot of fun but it rained and rained and poured and rained so our meet with mickey was moved inside, and we didn't get the full length parade. But we really enjoyed getting candy, and I man REALLY enjoyed we were so excited!! We didn't let the rain stop our fun.

We did some rides too!

We also managed to get over to DHS that trip, the next morning we opened that park and almost got in a fight over at TSM! We were waiting in the FP line with about 15 people behind us, letting people walk past us in front to get beyond the crowd. Well this woman on her cell phone decides to stop in front of me and stay in the line cutting us and everyone behind us, I was furious! I, rather loudly tried to get her attention but she wouldn't turn around. I was so angry! But we got our FP and went along to other rides, it was a good day for DHS!

IMG_5566.jpg

I was really excited they had the xmas decorations started!

IMG_5573.jpg

Instead of heading back to the hotel, we decided to go to Beaches and Cream, I really wanted to show this area to michael and of course he loved it! Beaches and Cream rules!

IMG_5588.jpg

That night after a resort break we went over to Boma for dinner and than back to Epcot for illuminations! I love this show!

IMG_5592.jpg

The next morning was our last one, and we spent it opening the Magic Kingdom with an afternoon at Epcot. We had a great time! Lots of Happy Birthdays and cake for Nicole! Wahoo, it was awesome!

Jill and John loved so many of the things that got at the Food & Wine booths, too, but I don't know if I heard either of them say they got crab cakes.

Minnie and Mickey look cute in their Halloween clothes. I love Eeyore in his clown suit, too!

I'm glad you were able to meet up with Jill for a couple of minutes. She showed me the picture. Next time you cross paths with her, she'll have two little ones in tow!

I've still got to get to Boma. Maybe next summer.

Thanks for the mini-TR!

It reminds me of my trip from last year...F&W, MNSSHP, and RAIN!!!

I'm glad you got lots of special attention for your birthday.

That burger looks so good! Yum!

Yeah! for bdays at Disney! Great pics, too bad about the rain. I loved the hidden ketchup mickey on the hamburger. Cute touch. :thumbsup2 Your parents must be anxious for thier cruise. I'm sure you and David can find something to occupy your time.....:goofy:

how nice you got another trip in. :woohoo:

The F&W was ok. I had one purpose in Epcot and that was a Grey Goose Slushy. :rotfl2:

Some of the food was incredible.

MMMMM Kona. Love that place.

Your birthday trip looks fabulous! Sorry to hear about the rain at MNSSHP -- but glad that you didn't let it ruin your fun!
