So sorry for your friends accident. Seizures are very common with head trauma, as is memory loss. Hopefully this is her body's way of healing. My thoughts and prayers are with her.

Lets continue this TR...

So we woke up early for this morning at DHS. It was a long bus ride so we didn't arrive until just after opening.

We high tailed it to TSM, and got FP -- return time was 12:20!!! And we got them at 9:10am!!! Can you believe it??

We walk back towards ToT, but as we approach David says he decided he doesn't want to go on.

I figured this would happen so I wasn't dissapointed. Usually I would skip it, but I really wanted to go on so I told David we would make sure he could get on line with me and get off at the actual ride. We asked and they said yes, so David waited on line with me. It was all in all about a 30 minute wait, not too bad. When we got to the ride, David changed his mind! He was going to go on afterall!! I was so happy! He said he figured he already made it this far he might as well. Thatta boy!

What did he think? he loved it!! It's one of his favorite rides, and i'm sure he'll comment somewhere to reiterate that!

We headed over to the RnR gift shop to see if maybe David wanted to be daredevil 2x, but he didn't want to. Okay, so we went over to the Great Movie Ride.

We were just in time for Indiana Jones so we waited for that, and than at the end I saw some people standing back for pictures. I didn't think this was allowed but I thought it would be really cool to get a picture with the indy character!! We stayed back with the family and got attitude from one of the CM. Someone apparently told the family waiting to stay over there, and this guy came and went "he's gonna be over there you might wanna move" and the mom went "that guy said stay here" and his words were "fine, stay there, I guess you don't want a picture"

So this prompted us to move and we got a picture!!

More gift shops...

I begged David to do animation academy and he agreed but he made his Minnie Mouse evil lol!

We saw frozone while there, he came up to me, grabbed my arm and pulled me in for a picture

Time for lunch, we wanted something different so we went to Backlot express -- it was so gross! Again, Pizza Planet = only edible food in DHS!

Finally it was time for TSM!!!

What is it with the FP/single rider line? It kind of just mushes together in the end?? Am I right here? So I could have just got in the single rider with David and waited just as long??

Oh well, this ride was a lot of fun, I beat David!! I love how accurate the sling shooter is, and the little surprises!

After this we walked around some gift shops (of course) I got a mickey mouse beanie thing for my bed and a star wars pin for my friend at work who loves star wars and disney!!

We exited the park and headed for the pool, i have looooots of pool pics coming up when I return...also, dinner at WCC and a dis meet at MK!!

I had no idea that you could get a pic with Indiana Jones -- I would have been all over that photo op!!!

Hurray for David riding ToT -- I haven't been on it since 1998 -- I always say I am going to ride it, but then I chicken out. Maybe next year!

Looking forward to pool photos of AKL -- I the Disney pools! I am also curious about WCC since we are currently booked for WL for our June trip.

Hey guys, just checking in -- I was hoping to do another update tonight, but instead I got some terrible news. One of my best friends who is in NY was in a bad accident. To make a long story short, she hit her head, and has had multiple seizures in the hospital and has complete memory loss. She gained consciousness and apparently she saw my name in her phone and felt compelled to call me. So i spoke to her, but she didn't know who I was, she didn't even know her own dog, so needless to say it's very disheartening.

I'm going back to disney for a few days for MNSSHP as a celebration for my birthday which is tomorrow. It's hard to imagine celebrating in a time like this, but I also know I can't do much but wait. Please send your prayers. I'd love to do another update before I go on Wed. So I might tomorrow night.

Nicole, I'm so sorry about your friend. I'll keeo her in my thoughts. I'm sure she'll recover and be fine.

Yes I was a big dd this trip. I tried a lot of new things. (I thank mainly the Dining Plan). Also, I'm listening to my favorite Disney song ever: Illuminations!

That's probably much the same way Jill felt Saturday night when we called her from Vanderbilt about Drew. She couldn't get to sleep until she knew everything, and at the time the prognosis was really bad. We couldn't keep our phones on, and she was going nuts.

I'm sure your friend is in good hands. We'll keep her in our thoughts and prayers, and you do the same for Drew. His turned out to get much better than expected, and maybe hers will, too.

Have a safe trip tomorrow, and I will look forward to hopefully hearing that you have met up with my girls very soon! They are having a good time, and tonight is MNSSHP, so if the weather treats them right, they have a fun night in store!

I am so sorry!!! If there's anything I can do even just to chat and help get your mind off it, let me know!

I had a great time this weekend in Disney!! I met Jill (BrooklynnsMommy) it was a real chance meeting on my first day there!! After I complete this TR, I might go back and share a little bit about the time we had, but we really did have a lot of fun and i'm glad I got the oppurtunity to spend my birthday in Disney of all places!!



So back to the TR, Here are some photos of the AKL gift shop (which we walked through every day) Hey! I can't help it that its closer to the bus stop!!

We spent a lot of time down by the pool, and fortunately I brought my camera with me this time!!

When we were done hanging out in the pool/hot tub, we had some time before our late dinner so we walked over to the savannah overlook and also went to the arcade...I bought us 2 seperate cards but I was a little dissapointed in the AKL arcade compared to Pop and POFQ -- we still had fun, we played a few rounds of air hockey (guess who won?)

After my card was done, David still wanted to play so I left him there with a little extra money to refill and went back to the room to relax and get ready for dinner/our DIS meet!

We had a late WCC reservation, but I didn't care because I love this restaurant and I was so happy to be visiting my favorite resort!! (Yes, the WL tops the AKL, but only by a smidge!)

We had a blast here with the usual antics. Neither of us needed Ketchup, but when David asked for a refill, he sure got one!!

Pooksma and Declansdad were on their way out of WCC, we said a quick hellogoodbye, we'd be seeing them shortly!!

After settling the bill, we raced out of there! Our meetup time was fastly approaching and we were running late!! We ducked in and out of the spectro crowds to reach our gang at POTC!!

and then we went on the ride!! After POTC was over we stood around chatting in the gift shop for a little while...they learned some things about David before anyone else (like he went on ToT and how he felt about the AKL surprise) We sure had a great time, it was fun to meet everyone!!

When EMH hit, we didn't really do much but get more Dole Whips and go on a ride neither one of us has been on: Jungle Cruise! We agreed it was funny, but not 45 minutes worth of waiting funny! lol!

Time for bed, tomorrow brings our last full day at WDW!!

It's good to hear that your friend is doing better. I hope she will be back to normal soon. I know that was/is very scary and stressful for her and her family and friends.
