So like I said in an earlier post, the surprise went really well! mom and dad were super surprised, and you can see they have tears in their eyes at the end of the video below. Needless to say, its all worth it, and they haven't stopped beeming all day! But before we get to the video, i'd like to go back in time to all the photos of the "setup" which i've had for quite some time!

Setting Up
The idea and concept were that we would have 2 pieces of treasure, each with a clue that led to the next, and eventually the treasure box with the t-shirts in them! So the first idea was this disney cruise line pin, I got for a few dollars on ebay:

The second idea required a little work, so I made a post on the dis boards asking a favor of someone who would be traveling to Disney soon. The request were two "happy anniversary" buttons (the kind you get for free from guest services) and of course I would pay any mail expenses! Lucky for me, glitterkittyy was willing to help! She had 2 extras from an earlier trip and mailed them to me the next week! gotta love the people on the dis! So now we had that all set:

The hardest thing to do believe it or not, was to find a cardboard treasure chest. David and I took a day a few weeks ago to check all over. We went to party city, ac moore (craft store), michaels (craft store) hallmark etc. until finally we just gave up and I decided I would order it online! I'm so glad I did! For $5 i found it at AnytimeCostumes.com! And it was perfect!! Here is David putting it together!

After those photos, David said I should post them on "that disney board"...oh silly David!

And now for the important part, the "scrolls!"

And on a side note, how awesome is it that we are only a month away!! Also, I saw Wall-E the other day and it is toooo cute! I am listening to the soundtrack right now, if you haven't seen it, you MUST!

Also, I loved the treasure scrolls and the way you presented it to them. The puppy was really cute too Now I have to dry my eyes and get back to work. Break is over.

Thanks for all your great comments on the video guys! I found out from my mom that when I told them they had to get out of the house for a bit because of the present, they thought the present was them coming with us in August! (yeah, right!) They were truly shocked it was a cruise!! I actually thought they knew because for the past few weeks my mom hasn't stopped with the "I need a vacation, I want to go on a cruise" So i was like "ugh, she knows" But as it turns out they were truly shocked which you can tell from the end! Also, i fixed the video the last few seconds are now set up how they were originally intended to be watched!

Aw i'm so glad you liked it! I think its added music at teh end that makes it emotional, so far everone i've showed it to in-and-outside of the DISboards had a great reaction! Isn't Oreo cute? We just got him shaved so he has his puppy face again! lol

Disney shopping rocks!! Yeah you can hear him say "they don't get it" because he kept saying they wouldn't when we were planning! He was like "nicole it doesn't matter, they aren't going to get it, you know how they are" and you can see him throw up his hands like "i told you so" and he looked at me when they look at the shirts!
