A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

Could I get an Autograph Cover for each of my kiddos? That would be so greatly appreciated.

Such amazing ideas on this thread!

We are taking our first trip to DL in March. Does anyone know of a autograph book cover for Disneyland? I only have been able to find ones for WDW.

TIA!

Becky

I suggest if you want an autograph book cover for Disneyland that you start your own thread with that request. I believe this is mainly a how-to guide and many DISigners will not see any requests posted here!

Be sure you indicate the size and orientation for the cover you need. Also any preferred characters or colors.

I for one will volunteer in a separate thread! :surfweb:

Thanks for the info! This is all new to me so I appreciate it!

I just had my autograph book spiral bound at Staples, but my book was an odd size 5.5x6.6. Because of the odd measurements the lady said that in order to place a front and back cover (clear cover and plastic like backing) it would be another $3 and it really wouldn't protect the pages. Frusterated I took my book and left. I'm hoping that you Disers can come to my creative rescue. Does anyone have suggestions on how to protect my book or give it some more stability while at the parks?

Can't wait to develope and print up our books, 3 sets of them. 2 for DD's and 1 for wife and I. We're going around Thanksgiving and truly cannot wait, we're thinking of going for a few days before that. I like the photos from PBBecker, hopefully I can borrow those 3 pictures to go with our autograph books.

Hey PrincessAndie, to try to help you out on your Autograph Book Protection, have you tried to purchase hard plastic like from Office Depot or another place like that, cut it to fit the autograph book and then punch the holes yourself? That could possibly work, we're going with the standard 4x6 autograph books. How did it take for them to make your book? I don't know the answer to that, so if you can answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and enjoy your vacation.:wizard:

This is what I'm planning on doing with ours: I'm going to paste my front covers onto chipboard (you can get at any scrapbooking supply store) and then cover it with either laminate or clear contact paper - depending on how thick it turns out. I will do the same with the back page. Then I will punch 2-3 holes in the top and put rings in each hole to hold the book together. that way the book should stay protected, but can be taken apart later to add to our scrapbook :)
Good luck!

I pre cut the pages and had them in order all ready for them to bind, it took them about 10 minutes to bind it for me and only cost about $3.75. I had about 90 pages in my book this time around.

hello
LOVE your DISigns :) Could i have 2 covers please???

Nathan
Brianna

I was also wondering if you know of anyone that has any chef Mickey's autograph cards??

Thank you
Tracy

Hi There! Would you mind making the autograph book covers for me in blue with the following names:

Grace
Hattie
Mabel
Essie

also, if you could fit Dec 2012 on there somewhere that would be great, if not the names are just fine.

Obviously it's not a rush as you can tell by the date. :lmao: I can already tell I'm going to be obsessing about this trip. :rotfl:

Lisa

Here you go Lisa. I am sorry it took so long!

If you have requested a cover and it isn't here, it will be here by the end of the day. I am so sorry that I had to step off of the boards for six weeks, but I am knee deep in my doctoral dissertation and I am frantically working on the final edits so that I can graduate this semester (FINALLY!). From now on I will check in more often, I promise! :goodvibes

I'm sorry that this maybe a repeated question, but I was wondering if anyone is printing these from artscow. I thought I remembered seeing something like autograph books and epcot passports made and printed there in a post somewhere, but I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

ETA: I just realized that I may find my answer if I just read the entire thread..LOL
I do remember someone having a fantastic Epcot passport album. If anyone has a link to this, I would appreciate it greatly!

Although I can't give you a good answer (yet!), I have put together two passports using artscow and ordered them on 12/27. They were both 5x7, 30 pages with hardcover for a total of $26 shipped. My order status just changed today to shipped, so hopefully I will get them by the end of this month. I have read that their shipping is very slow, so as a warning, you probably want to order a good 4-6 weeks before you really need them.

I have also read that their quality is great and prices are reasonable.

I am currently putting together autograph books (5x7) and it looks like their photobook for 50 pages (approx 100 autographs; 1 on front/1 on back) is about $13 (they currently have a 25% off sale) plus shipping.

If I can remember, I'll post back once I get them...

Congratulations on your PhD. That was such a crazy time for my husband as well! I know it will be wonderful to have it completed!

We are visiting Disney in several weeks. I love your covers! Would it be possible to get two pink covers for Ellie and Kate? Thank you SO much!
