Can anyone help me come up with a short show or movie to watch at a pretend sleepover? I was thinking about an hour?

Thanks for any ideas

What's the age group?

You could do 2 half-hour TV episodes.

DD11 has recently rediscovered the old Scooby-Do episodes, as well as "Pup Named Scooby-Do" which came out in the 90's, I believe. Still along the cartoon line, both (DD11 and DD17) also love the old Garfield cartoons, and Looney Tunes. Muppet Show is also a change from the norm.

If it's for older ones -- if they like Brit humor, Monty Python or Faulty Towers.

Sorry forget to mention the ages. Most are 7-8 one 11 and and an almost 3 yr old but I'm guessing she will have left by then. (will be past her bed time) I plan on the last hour for them to snuggle up with blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals to watch something.

That was one of my thoughts to do 2 half hour TV Shows.

Then Scooby Do should work. Veggie Tales are good, too.

We still love some of the old Nickelodeon shows from the late 90's: SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Rugrats, Fairly OddParents, Rocket Power, Wild Thornberries.

You have a better chance of them settling down if it's not something they've seen recently.

ETA: We don't have cable, but we do have iPods and a TV cable for them. We download the episodes from iTunes and play it on our iPods through the TV.

Funny about the Rugrats. We have Netflix and one day while I was doing my hair I hear the Rugrats theme. I go to the family room and my son who is 10 is watching Rugrats. I said to him you have not watch them in years and he said yah I used to really like them. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the ideas. My daughter just saw a commercial for several new episodes of Suite Life on Deck, Hannah Montana, and Good Luck Charlie. I could DVR them and have them as a choice, also some of your ideas are still On Demand.

It was really funny at Christmas -- I have the Rocket Power Christmas episode on my iPod, and I played it for the kids. DS17 (yes, a junior in HS) sat down and watched it with me -- "This was the coolest show ever -- I loved Rocket Power!"
