Totally agree, I have been on some awful bus rides, way to close for comfort a few times!

I wonder if this is contributing to its demise? I remember when it was still fairly new and waits were an hour...

Possibly but I have always found early morning is always a walk on, everyone heads to Pandora!

I'm surprised with her aversion to motion rides that she's okay with this one. It's pretty chaotic!

I know, it sounds like if moving fast and constant hills makes her feel horrible so most all rollercoaster and spinning around

Other than the annoying guy in the preshow, this ride is always amazing, never gets old. Andi thought the screen was getting a little distorted or old, I didn’t think so!

I've only had popcorn once (at Disney) and that was at Disneyland. Never had it at WDW.

Get a bucket and try it, you can bring it back every trip and get popcorn for a mere $2.25, do it soon because refills will likely be $5.00 soon!

But... the cynic in me isn't surprised. Word got out and it's certainly a well known menu item. So... of course Disney would hike the price, knowing people would still buy it.

I know it is crazy how much Disney has jacked up the price!

I've heard some good things, but... Just haven't found myself over that way, yet.

The restaurants over at Swan and Dolphin are amazing, I have another review coming up of our dinner at IllMulino best food of the trip!

And... I can't make it! I can't get the key lime liqueur. I did find another one with key lime juice, so will try that one. I have all the ingredients now, but I'm working so much and that prevents me (legally) from drinking anything.

I can’t find that liqueur either but I will try with Key lime juice when my sister is here for a visit!

I'm not envious at all. Not even a little bit. Nope. Totally not. Nada. Zip. Nil.

Invite me for prime rib sliders and key lime pie martinis and I am there.

We got up early today, can you believe it?

MK is beautiful and always such a pleasure to walk down MainStreet!

Resort guests get scanned in to the right of the castle and we were all the way down by the Cheshire Cat stand, nice!

Oh? I'm trying to remember if they did anything like that last time I was there... thinking... no?

The mad dash started right on time. We pretty much walked right on PPF.

Everyone else is aiming for 7DMT.

In the line, a lady behind us asked if I write reports on the Dis. I said yes and she told me she has read many of my reports and recognized me!

Oh! How cool is that?!?!?

Andi and Kait said I was a celebrity!

We all rode in one Doom Buggy this first time. It was fine but a little squished.

You do look a wee bit squished... I didn't think they'd even let 3 adults ride in one buggy.

Someone did not get the memo to look scared.

Jungle Cruise was under refurbishment during our visit.

Poop.

On PoTC, I was really happy to see the guy sitting in front of us got the memo to do the international pirate sign!

I had to read the description! "What is that??? Cauliflower? Brains?... oh. Chicken."

I always try to sit at the back. Seems a bit dryer there... unless you get stuck at the bottom where the water can getcha. (Does that still happen?)

It was a 5 minute wait. We rode once SB and once with our FP. Awesome ride as usual. Kait likes this one. I knew there was a reason Andi picked her!

Nice! I will definitely ride Dinosaur with you in December.

It was time for our Safari FP. We got a row to ourselves yay! Just to let everyone know, we never waited more than 5-7 minutes for all our FP selections. For us this was excellent since we do not like waiting in line at all!

Awesome!

We munched on popcorn and went back into Dinoland to meet Daisy. Kait loves Daisy and from past experiences Daisy usually has a small wait. Many people don’t realize she is back here.

I love Daisy! But Chip and Dale are my must do's in that area.

We also looked in the gift shops on our way out. Does anyone else think AK shops are the best? I love the shops here I a,ways find unique things! We didn’t buy anything today.

Absolutely!

We shared the bread service and I don’t care that it has literally gone up $9.00 in price since we have been coming here. It was $13.00 on our first visit and it is now $22.00.

Still at $22 it's a good value as the portion is big.

I tried to convince Andi to watch the Frozen show but she wasn’t buying what I was selling so I went and enjoyed it myself while the girls did the Muppets.

The Frozen show is always so fun!

Andi and I rode again without Kait. She hung out in the shade. Our picture was awful so I won’t add it. We are completely hidden. Oh well, in December, I am requesting the front rode this time. Andi gets embarrassed and won’t let me ask for a different row!

We did go to the Boardwalk Ice cream shop and had dessert for our supper. We were still full from Sanaa.

Nothing better than dessert for dinner!

The bus area was busy but not crazy and we got on a MK bus quickly and we all had a seat. Andi offered her seat to a few people, who she likely thought were ancient when they were really probably my age! They declined but what a sweet girl and we raised her right!

The mad dash started right on time. We pretty much walked right on PPF. We maybe waited around 5-7 minutes. In the line, a lady behind us asked if I write reports on the Dis. I said yes and she told me she has read many of my reports and recognized me! How nice was this! She was touring with her husband. She told me she isn’t on the Dis much anymore but did enjoy my reports in the past!

So fun!

We stopped for a few pictures outside of the mansion before moving on to PoTC.

The Beignets were also very fresh and delicious slightly different than my favorite Mickey ones at the POFQ.

Your review is the first positive one I have heard. I guess the trick is to get them early in the morning.

Our verdict? We loved it! I loved all the Disney songs done in a little different way. The bears looked refreshed and the set nice and bright!

I liked it too but Billie and Melinda were not fans.

First of all - you could never be a Karen. Just ignore Andi next time and ask. Believe me, those CMs get asked for that kind of thing all the time, they won't even bat an eye.

I'm not sure how I feel about the newly refurbed Country Bears. I guess I should wait to pass judgement until I go but I will miss the old show. One of the last times I went to see it, the show got started but about 5 minutes in, it broke down. The poor CM came out to make the announcement that the show was cancelled. She said something like "We have to cancel the rest of the this show. The bears have escaped and we haven't gotten them all back." You can only imagine the hysterical screaming from a few small ones in front of us who thought the bears were going to come eat them. Once the screaming about hungry bears started, the CM burst into tears and ran away. Oh dear. Of course, Rob and I couldn't stop laughing at the whole thing. We might be terrible people.

What is that smell?

We caught the monorail from MK to the TTC, this monorail had the cow barn smell very prominent.

Good thing it is a short ride because the motion and the smell was getting to Kait. I don’t understand what causes that gross smell. Any ideas? I don’t smell it all the time but it is a core memory for me just like Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas!"

Once we got off at the TTC, we did have to wait a little while for the next monorail so Kait was able to breathe humid hot fresh air! She was feeling better and thank goodness the next monorail that came didn’t have the manure smell.

I love how the monorail circles around Epcot before stopping.

Our first stop was SE with a FP. It was a fun ride, look at my Swiss cheese picture, again Horror nights for us hadn’t even started yet.


We wanted to try some F&W booths. Our first one was Flavors from Fire

Impossible™ Montreal Style Burger Slider with Cheddar and Tomato Jam on a Sesame Seed Bun

I had a returning favorite of mine

Smoked Corned Beef with House-made Potato Chips, Cheese Curds, Pickled Onions, and Beer-Cheese Fondue

Our food was delicious,

The girls wouldn’t try mine because of the corned beef so I ate all of this and it really filled me up.

We went to the new CommuniCore Hall for the Mac and Cheese booths.

I searched for a table while the girls got in line. The line was long. I was able to find a table and sat down and drank my water and waited for the girls.

They chose the vegetarian option

Impossible™ Chili Cheese Macaroni and Cheese with Sour Cream and Cheddar.

They enjoyed this. This area was full of tables and a few F&W souvenirs. It was very busy in this building. I think the tables and air conditioning were drawing people in.

We rode Finding Nemo and LwtL with FP. LwtL had some F&W scenes throughout the attraction.


The girls decided to head out and try some more food booths. I was able to get a FP for Soarin so I headed there next.

I was able to get B concourse row 2 without asking. Row 1 is best but this was good. The people next to me had not been on the ride before and loved it!

It is always fun to see the excitement of guests experiencing an attraction for the first time.

I slowly worked my way to the IG stopping in a few stores to cool down before heading out to the BWI.

In the meantime, the girls tried

Fried Falafel Pita with Tomato-Cucumber Relish and Tahini Sauce

Mimosa Flight=Berry, Tropical, and Blood Orange

Violet Sake

They said the Falafel and drinks were very good.

I took a little rest until the girls came back.

We had a new dinner experience this evening!

Stay tuned for our best dinner of the trip! Now I understand all the rave reviews of this place!

I know, the minute we piled in I was like oh no one and done with 3. Actually it wasn’t to bad but not really meant for 3 in my opinion. It was nice the girls wanted me in the doom buggy with them!

Yes I think you are correct. The water effects are in full force except they built up the greenery around the big drop so when you circle by that area you don’t get sprayed much from that . The first little hill at the beginning is a soaker!
