A Rumblee in my Tumblee Pre-Trip Report

I was like you after my older two and still like that with our little one...

recently going through the albums I noticed (and so did DD21) that we have very little pics of me through the years--DD said that made her sad not to have those memories of me.
The sad thing like you say you have extra wt--I thought so too. But, looking back I did have a little wt gain w/each child but not enough to hide from the camera. My problem now is if I don't have a hat the picture gets deleted (losing my hair after last baby--my part is getting wider and wider--don't know why???) and I have really put on the wt over the last two years-after the baby came. So, needless to say I still take ALL the pictures.

So, enjoy your boys and leave lots of memories of all of you...with lots of pictures...to your husband and boys you ARE always be beautiful

I just need to learn to take a little of my own advise...

I think you're gorgeous. You appear much skinnier then me and I've only had 1 baby! If you're a little self conscious just hold your littl guy in front of you. That's what I try to do. lol

Can't wait to see the new hair do. I really need to do that. I just got my cute 6 weeks ago or so and it's awful! I let her convince me to cut more bangs and they're like halfway back my head! Plus the my hair is so blah. She didn't put any shape to it. I need to figure out what I can do about it. Lets just say if I put a pony tail in I look like I'm from the early 90's. YUCK!

Thank you all very much for giving me the much needed "get over it- and just enjoy things" and for all the nice words. I am so happy to have had the chance to get to know you all a little better- and I am SO excited for all of us and our upcoming trips!!!

You are beautiful and a great mommy! Our extra weight, scars and "junk in the trunk" is cause we were blesses with some amazing kiddos. And ur hubby is sweet.

I know what you mean about the extra baby weight though....BUT, you've had 2 babies, you're allowed to have a little extra junk in the trunk!

As usual another awesome Disney night! I'm going to miss your PTR because I look forward to seeing what you do each Friday night.

Can't wait to see pics of the new hair. I'm not very daring either but this last time I did a complete 180, new hair, new color, and I actually let her cut in some very, very long bangs. I hadn't changed my hair in 5 years. It was time. I feel great about it.

Here's a little true story....

My mom never let us take her picture when we were growing up because she said she was too fat. Sadly, my little sister died suddenly about 8 years ago from a Doctor's mistake. The only pics we could find of Mom with Becky were some pics from our WDW trip in 1987-Becky was like 8 years old and we did find one family pic at our wedding. Although those are great memories, she didn't have any with Becky throughout her life.

Please don't let your weight keep you from documenting the fun you have together. I take pics of everyone with my kids. I don't necessarily share them but I have them to look back on and someday my kids will too. My kids and husband don't care if I'm heavy in pictures. They still love me and so do yours. That's what's really important right.

Oh and on the Disney Nights- these will not stop after Disney- Actually that is how they got started... we were sad when our last trip was over so in order to keep the "magic" we started our disney nights. They just became a little more and we photograph them now that we have the countdown!!

You are so nice- THANK YOU. We only have a DVD player!! We got rid of our VHS when we moved- too bad because we do have every disney movie made in VHS! If you have it on DVD and wouldnt mind letting us borrow it, I would really appreciate it.

I have to admit I have not taken alot of time reading your thread, yet. So, I am picking up on bits and pieces. Are you looking for "Alice in Wonderland" DVD? If you are looking to buy https://disneymovieclub.go.com and disneyshopping.com. The movie club you need to sign up w/a membership and the disneyshopping normally has free shipping on DVD's. Normally when I order movies I get them w/in 4-5 days. Hope this helps!!

OMG
Wayne rented Marley & Me tonight. He said myles could watch it with us and I really felt like Myles was not old enough for this one.... I knew if we started it late he would fall asleep and let me tell you, I am so glad he fell asleep!!!!
I read the book, I knew the story and yet, I balled my eyes out. It was so weird watching this movie and hearing what "jennie" was saying. It was like watching myself! I had a 3 year old, bought this new house, we decided to get Daisy when I was 5 mos pregnant with Owen and then all of a sudden had a new house- new puppy, new baby and a 3 year old. CRAZY! - OMG that was the saddest movie ever. UGH
So, I am left with no other choice but to post a little photo montage of "the Life of Daisy"

Awwww! Daisy is so gorgeous! Her and Myles are BFF!! I started tearing up looking at those pictures. I'm always debating on whether we should get another dog. Will is great, but he's 10 now and not very active. I'd like for Emily to have a BFF like Daisy. Our dog Baylee passed when Emily was 7 months old and that totally bummed me out because her and Emily would have been very close. Baylee ADORED Emily and welcomed her with big kisses!

I know what you mean about Marley & Me. I haven't read the book or watched the movie because I loose it when dogs die.
