I just wrote a long reply to you & my computer shut I.E. down & restarted it...grrr!
Anyway, just wanted to tell you that I understand what you were going through with the hives! Its such a horrible feeling!
I hope you're feeling better now! I actually had hives 2 weeks ago on the weekend. Of course I woke up at 7:30am that day & the pharmacy didn't open until 10am. My DH and I spent 2 1/2 hours looking up medical websites & calling everyone we knew (which just made me feel worse!) I was so nervous about taking any medications or even using calamine lotion since I'm pregnant! I'm sort of a hives expert because both my dad and my brother used to get them all the time. I remember weeks at a time when my dad had them & they just would not go away. Ironically, no one in my family is allergic to any medications, foods, etc....its so strange!
I tried to rest/sleep but of course that doesn't work when you're so itchy! I finally went to the pharmacy and they said it was safe to use calamine lotion & take Benadryl. To be on the safe side, I bought the children's version of Benadryl & only took half a dose. Luckily it began to work towards evening -- but I woke up Monday morning with them again!
They finally went away Monday afternoon which wasn't terrible. I was miserable for about 2 days but I was glad it wasn't longer! I really, really hope you are feeling better!!!!
I love the Coach purse with your pins on it!!! It looks great! Of course my favorite part is the Vinylmations!!!
Your AK plans sound great!!! We love AK because its a very relaxing atmosphere! We love walking on the trails & just taking our time. We always seem to do the most at AK which is odd considering it closes earlier than the other parks! Last year, in mid-June when there were 120-180+ wait times for pretty much everything, we walked the trails at AK ALONE!!! We were shocked!!! It must have been an off-time or during a show. We still aren't sure why it wasn't crowded like everything else but it was perfect & soooo relaxing!!!
I don't think you'll have a problem going on both EE and the safari with such low crowd numbers that day! Just relax & enjoy your special day together!!!
I can't wait to hear the rest of your plans!!!
Oh I almost forgot! I also wanted to comment on the diet plans. For years, people have recommended Weight Watchers to me. I always thought it was too complicated & I didn't want to figure out points everytime I sat down to have a meal. People would tell me about it & I would just sort of roll my eyes at them & comment how its too much work!
Well, a couple months ago, my best friend finally convinced me to try it. I got a website from another friend (that's much better than the one on WW) that shows points for tons & tons of restaurants. I can email it to you if you'd like -- just PM me your email!!! I ended up losing 9 pounds in less than 3 weeks. And I honestly have trouble with any diet. I've never found one that works for me & I've honestly tried them all many times! I exercise like crazy when I'm dieting & cut back on food, yet nothing ever works. This new WW program is the first that's ever worked! Of course this was all before I found out I was pregnant & now I've been trying to gain -- but as soon as I have the baby, I plan to start WW again! Its honestly that good! Just wanted to share that!
One more thing -- I understand what you went through with the ADR's! Before I made ours, I asked my DH a million times for his opinion. I asked if there were any restaurants that were "musts" for this trip, anything he really wanted to try, etc. I then asked him again the night before making the ADR's. I went over the entire list with him at least 20 times. He told me that he just wanted Garden Grill & other than that, it didn't matter. He said he trusts my opinions & knows that I'll choose whats best for all of us. Ok -- so the ADR's have been made for months & he comes home from work THIS past week & asks me when we're eating at T-Rex!!! (WHAT???) I explained how you need to make ADR's 180 days in advance, they fill up quickly, they only have a certain amount of time slots per day per restaurant, I went over the ADR list with him, he told me I could do whatever I want, etc. Needless to say, I spent a few days attempting to get a ressie but nothing is available. I finally looked over our schedule again & couldn't find anything I wanted to get rid of to add T-Rex -- so I just stopped looking for an open time. I told him we'll do it next trip -- when Luke is older & won't be afraid. He loves dinosaurs but I am worried he'd be afraid of the earthquakes! So I guess this works out for the best! Men!? LOL
