I am a Mets fan. And I generally can't stand the Yankees for obvious reasons. With A-Rod deciding not to stay with the Yankees I have just about had it. The Red Sox won the World series, after winning the only 4 games in the series and A-Rod decides to announce during the middle of the 4th game, that he is not staying with the Yankees. The tv was on when I went down stairs in the moring, and what was on the news? not the Red Sox winning the world series, but the press conference with A-Rod! :sad2: You have got to be kidding me! Sorry for all you Yankees fans but this is my vent. Do any of you sports fans agree with me?

ya it gets kind of annoying when big-name stars think they are "all that" and make a big deal about every little thing. just like kobe bryant one day he wants to be traded the next day he doesnt! whats up with that!

thats wrong that something that the red sox worked like 80 years for is covered up by a single guy with a big bank

This is the typical Yankees, hogging the spotlight. MLB is very mad at ARods timing.

I'm a huge A-Rod fan and I hate the Red Sox.
But I have to agree that he is stealing the spotlight.
I love the guy to death.
He is an amazing baseball player.
But he could have waited until the whole World Series thing died down.

acualy he couldnt in his contract he had until 10 days after the series started to cancel his contract. hey im not defending him i totoaly agree that hogged the spot light but he still had to do it soon if he wab=nted to get out

I completely agree. When we sox fans should be celebrating and all the focus should be on our winning team, the focus is getting side tracked with "will the red sox get A-Rod next season?" Well cant we take a minute to relax in this year's success? I honestly dont know how I feel about the sox getting A-Rod, I mean he is a good batter, but he falls apart at the end of the season.

I never watch Yankee games, but with that paycheck and what I have heard I am sure he IS a good player. I doubt the Mets will get him because of how much money he is asking for, but honestly I don't want him on the team. My sister read some place that someone made a comment about how the Mets should get A-Rod and move David Wright to 1rst base. I don't like this at all. :sad2:

I cant stand anything too do with the Yankees or Red Sox.... Mets too

Maybe they asked him at the wrong time..or he answered at an inconvenient or coincidental time.

I really could care less. Ever since the huge steroids scandal I haven't payed attention to baseball.

I think if A-rod went to the mets it would just be stupid.
Thats it. I have nothing else. :teeth:
Go Mets !

Wasnt it his agent that came out and said he was leaving New York first?
