Hi everyone! This is my second attempt at a PTR. I wrote and finished one for our trip last April (09) and had such a great time boring (hehehe :lmao:) each of you to tears with the details of my upcoming trip that I thought, "hey, what the heck, it's still over 8 months away, but let's get started!"

I am starting now basically because I actually have my room booked already. You see, last year, I did things backwards! I booked my car rental first, then the airfare, and booked our room and ticket packages last (if I remember correctly). One thing I know, our car rental was the first booking.

My sis decided to have her wedding in Disney and we were so excited to be able to plan another trip. DH and I have been hoping to put a bun in the oven :lovestruc for quite some time now and my sister decided to wait until we knew if we were preggers to plan her wedding. If I was pregnant, she was planning an early May wedding so that I could travel with the baby while on maternity leave and enjoy my favorite rides. If not, she was willing to move her wedding into April so that I, :teacher:, could not only attend the wedding, but be a part of the family vacation as well. (She's amazingly flexible!).

Sadly, we learned last week that I was not expecting...however, I try to look at the positive side of things as much as possible. Not being with child meant we knew our dates for Disney! We knew we were going during Spring Break (yup, we're crazy because it's going to be Easter! :scared1: ) Of course, I also know that I may be pregnant there and unable to do those rides. But, whatever happens happens :) If I'm lucky enough to be expecting, I get to look forward to our next trip as a family of 4 when I can ride the rides :)

She still has to work out the details with a wedding planner, but for now, as it stands, we'll be leaving home April 13th and coming back to reality on Easter. She's hoping to have her wedding on the 16th and rehearsal dinner on the 14th so she can just relax and do whatever the night before she gets hitched:bride:

My school break doesn't officially begin until after school on Friday the 15th so my hope is that I will be able to get permission to use my personal days for the 14th and 15th seeing as though this is a special circumstance.

So for the past week I've been going crazy thinking about our trip, how to prepare for it, could we actually afford it seeing as though it's one of the most expensive and busy times a year aside from Christmas time? It's been keeping me up at nights (seriously, I'm still awake at 3:15 a.m. when DH heads off to work :surfweb:) so I decided I'm calling Disney and getting my rate quote because the 2011 rates are out as long as you call.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? TWICE AS MUCH AS OUR TRIP LAST YEAR??????

I was shocked when I got the rate quote today to be quite honest. However, I did get a quote for a pirate room at CBR because we were hoping to make DS's last trip as a singleton (hopefully) a special one (not that any trip down to WDW isn't special, I know). So, after much talking with the amazing CM, I decided to hold a pirate room, talk to DH about it, and call back within the week to put the $200 deposit down.

DH and I crunched the numbers. With our anticipated airfare being around the $1500 mark for the 3 of us (if we're lucky, they would have been $2100 in '07) flying down and back at the busiest Spring Break mark on the east coast, the cost of our room, not to mention the addition of meal and ticket prices when they come out, and our car rental because we insist on the freedom and flexibility it gives us, this trip could cost us somewhere in the area of $6000 (if not much more),which is more than twice the cost of our trip, the same week (not Easter, my spring break), last year.

I may be crazy, but I have talked a lot about taking a road trip to WDW with DH and DS for a while now. I loved the drive as a kid (we did it 2 or 3 times) and while yes, it's different when you're the driver, I've wanted to try one now that DS is not in diapers. DH and I figure that driving our car down (Explorer) would cost us about $5-600 for the gas the whole trip down and back, meaning that we could save at least $1200 on transportation alone if we drove. So, if I get permission to take my leave early, WE'RE GOING ON A ROADTRIP!

Leaving our house when I get home from work Wednesday, April 13th, hoping to drive straight through (this may change), arriving in WDW sometime Thursday evening!

Now, we have to wait and see what my sister gets for her wedding, what the discount they offer her guests looks like, when the meal/ticket packages are released, and if I get the time off of work before we are able to make any more plans.

We originally planned on the QSDP because 9 nights of TS became quite a bit for DS last year (but they were all dinners other than one bfast), however, now we're debating no dining plan and paying OOP, or going with the DDP and making ressies for breakfasts, lunches, and some dinners to switch it up a bit. I have until OCT. 16th to book dining reservations so I'm not too concerned with that decision yet.

The only thing we know for sure is that we are all getting the 2 day PHWPM MYW ticket, and then buying a seperate 3 day hopper for DS because we still have 3 PH days left over from our trip last year because of the buy 4 get 3 free offer we were able to take advantage of (DS was still 2 so no tix for him).

Okay, thanks for reading! I'll be back for the cast of characters soon so you can get to know us a little better!

Wow:car: WOW:bride::groom: and maybe a new little:littleangel: I can't wait to hear more:)

Welcome! Yes, we may have a lot of excitement coming up. Although, when we decided to drive (which we are still excited about doing) I never even gave it a thought that I'm hoping to be pregnant! That'll make for an interesting drive down  I thought DS would be the issue for bathroom stops...but hopefully it'll be me. As much as I'd prefer (in general) not to be preggers in WDW, I know I'll be back again soon and it'll be so worth it if it means another one's on the way!:cloud9:

I'm glad you're here to read about our journey. It's still a ways out so sit back, buckle yourself in, and enjoy the ride with me!

While the house is quiet with both DS, DH, and the dog napping, I thought I'd take some time to start our introductions. I'm not sure of exactly who else will be joining us, so for now I'm going to introduce you to those I know are joining us.

Me ~ Hmmm. Where do I start? I guess the beginning is as good a place as any. Okay. As a child, some of my favorite memories are of our vacations to WDW with our family (would be a grand gathering now as we had all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc. with us). I was in WDW pretty much every year from 1980 (1 year old) to 1988, then every other year until '94. So, by age 14 I think I'd been maybe 12 times. Most of the time we flew but we also had a few road trips that, to me, WERE A BLAST! Great memories from those trips. Then, my dad drove down to FL with my sisters in '96 but crazy me opted to stay home with my mom because I had a new boyfriend! :lovestruc What on Earth could I have been thinking??????? :scared1: Anyway, it wasn't until '99 that I was able to return to The World. I only flew down for a long weekend because my parents took my sisters down during their school break which naturally, didn't occur during my spring break. 7 years had gone by and so much was different in my life. I was a sophomore in college and had just started dating a guy...but this time, I wasn't missing WDW for anyone. Not even the man who became my Prince! (don't worry, he came with me soon enough). So that trip down in '99 was enough to give me the crazy bug again and I think that's when I became what we here on the DIS would call a Disney Fanatic.

I learned that Patriot's Day and Easter fell on back to back weekends (like this upcoming April actually) and my parents were going back down with my sisters on their vacation. I had scheduled my classes to not fall on Friday that year, and being at a Catholic College, I didn't have classes on the Friday before Easter or the Monday afterwards which meant I'd miss a few days of classes, but nothing major and my professors were AWESOME about it so, I asked that guy if he wanted to travel with my family. In total, there were over 20 people with us that year (I'm thinking 23). That guy must not have been too traumatized because a few years later he asked me to marry him and we had our honeymoon in...yup, Walt Disney World!!!!!!

There was one more grand gathering in '02 before our Disneymoon in Oct. '04. Before I got off of the plane as we returned from our honeymoon, I declared to DH that our next trip was going to be in April of '06 because unfortunately 4/05 was just too soon for us to afford it with a new house and all :)

So, I was all set. I was hooked and we were going back for my school vacation (I'm a teacher) in April of '06 until......

that August I had 2 blue lines on my home pregnancy test and learned that in April of '06 we would become proud parents. Okay, so one more guy has kept me from a trip to WDW and is so worth it! When I learned I was preggers, my next declaration came. We're going in April of '07. Yeah, yeah, some people say it's a waste to bring a 1yo to WDW but it didn't cost me anything to take him and it was a trip for me! (and DH and my parents of course). Aside from our Disneymoon, this trip was the smallest group I'd EVER traveled with. We couldn't go in April because the airfare was ASTRONOMICAL so we went down in June, and while the heat was unbearable, that trip holds such special memories for me! DS's first haircut at the barber shop in MK, my first time experiencing the DDP, seeing Disney through the eyes of a parent!

Once again, a declaration was made. "We are coming back no later than 2009!" And that we did. I planned a grand gathering for 15 people in my family and this time, there were 3 kids with us because my aunt and uncle took their grandchidren (3 and 5). DH and I had such a great time watching DS (almost 3 at the time) that we hoped we could bring him back again in 2010 but, it's just SO EXPENSIVE for me to travel during the school vacation and things came up with our family. We really enjoy staying in a mod resort and having a rental car so for us and for now, every 2 years will have to do!

A few months ago my Sis told us she and her DF wanted a Disney Wedding and I knew that finally, I'd be back at the World!

My family teases me NON STOP because of my obsession with our trips to Disney. I love planning the trip and participating in the discussions here almost a much as being down there. But, whatever right. Disney makes me happy. It's my thing and probably always will be.

Well, DS has woken up so, you'll have to wait to meet the others (if I haven't already bored you to your grave!)

Ah, okay. Next up on the list is "That Guy who became my Prince"!

DH ~ So, DH's childhood was way different than mine. His parents cultured him with trips to Hong Kong and Costa Rica while I was living it up in the world. They did take their family to WDW once, and only once. Why did they do this you ask? Was it because the kids didn't like it? Was it because they didn't enjoy themselves? Was it because they believed one trip was enough?

Nope, it was because DH (who is "that guy" to me) was "THAT KID" :scared1: You know, the kid that throws a tantrum at every opportunity. The kid that was so obsessed with meeting a character that when it wasn't possible he cried and cried and cried. Yup, that was him. And no, his behavior was FAR from age appropriate. He was 8! His sister was 10/11 and his brothers respectively were 13 and 15. My darling DH forever changed Disney in the minds of his siblings. And they vowed to NEVER take him again :rotfl:

I still tease DH about this as we plan our next trip, but I can assure you, he has grown up.

DH's first trip back to the World was when I asked him (then only "that guy") if he'd like to join us (2000). It was a great trip and we had an awesome time. In fact, DH's favorite part of the trip was FINALLY getting to meet Donald Duck. I can't remember exactly where we met Donald, but we were in a pretty large room and inside were Donald and Daisy. It was an amazing Meet and Greet because it was just the 5 of us in the room. Daisy was flirting with the guys, Donald with the girls. Then, Donald got "jealous" and tapped DH on the shoulder, proceeding to raise his arms and one leg Karate Kid style! It was amazing and even at 20 years old, DH was giggling. It was a perfect way for DH to get that Disney magic. What was even cooler was a few days later we went to CM's for dinner and Donald tapped DH on the shoulder while in the buffet line, and did the Karate Kid thing again. At the time I was in awe (and was for several years) thinking it was the same employee. But, I've come to believe that someone else on the trip with us whispered in Donald's ear and asked him to do that. Either way though, I was so excited to be there with DH when he finally got the experience he wanted.

DH has been with me on every trip since...but, through work, he's actually gone 2 other times w/o me. Yup, can you believe it? It wasn't that he didn't want me there, it was that work wouldn't allow it (hey, I know it sounds fishy but I've gotta believe him right?)

DH is the one that suggested WDW for our honeymoon. (Of course this was my first choice, but I thought, let's do something different). We thought about a cruise, we thought about Aruba (we'd been to Aruba on a cruise and enjoyed it). But then we remembered. DH hates the beach so where could we go and enjoy our honeymoon while keeping us both happy w/o breaking the bank because if we were in Aruba, DH would have us on watercraft rentals all day at $50/half hour or in the casinos. So, WDW it was and we had an amazing time. We saw things that we had never see before (or after) and did things that we usually don't have time or the opportunity to do on our other trips.

Each year DH and I create new memories of WDW. They're even better now because we enjoy them with DS. His parents don't really approve of us going to WDW as often as we could but we try to not let it bother us. (Seriously, we go every other year, definitely not often enough in my book).

Next up, DS and his first times!

Well, you've met me and you've met DH (at least, you learned about our Disney lives). Now it's time to meet the boy who stole my heart!

DS ~ our miracle! Long story short about the miracle, we were told I was miscarrying, I almost went to the hospital because of it and decided not too. Then, all of a sudden, I wasn't miscarrying and now he's the most amazing, beautiful, funny little guy I've ever had the privilege of knowing! And, to add to that miracle, as I stated in my opening post, as much as DH and I want to expand our family, it's been tough.

Okay, back to DS and his Disney life. As you know, I wanted to go back a year and a half after our honeymoon but DS arrived at the same time so we put that trip off for a year. WHAT A GREAT IDEA! We took DS to WDW in June of '07 at almost 14 months old. He had his very first haircut in at the Barber Shop on Main Street and oohed and aahed at the Festival of the Lion King. The haircut began our trip as it was the very first stop we made. It was incredible and of course, I cried. What a milestone and to have it in Disney is just so neat. FOTLK was the last thing we did before leaving the World and, Wow! What a way to end. DS was so amazed by the lights and the music and the colors. I can still hear him grunting and giggling to the music and I can still see him staring in amazement and jumping in my Dad's lap. I can still see the tears in my dad's eyes (the man who never cries ;) ). He was so proud and overjoyed at being able to be a part of DS's first experience in Disney. Just the sheer memory of that moment brings tears to my eyes! The magic of Disney really shone through that day. And when anyone says not to bring a child to Disney until they're old enough to remember, I share this story because if I had waited, I never would have had that moment. And that moment is still the absolute best Disney moment of my life.

So, the Disney bug was back and furious and we decided we were going to take DS back to Disney in April of '09. But, this time, it was going to be different. This time, it was once again a Grand Gathering. Not only would it have been my first time vacationing with my sisters again to Disney, and not only was it their first time in Disney with DS, but my aunt and uncle were taking their grandkids and my cousin and his then girlfriend (now wife) were joining us as well. DS was going to have some partners in crime to enjoy WDW with. And wow, they had a great time. The ongoing joke however was that my little guy slept through Walt Disney World. Yes, this is true! Before we hit the parks we began our vacation with 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella's Gala Feast. DS was awake when we left the resort but asleep when we arrived at GF and slept through the entire meal. Yup! He even slept through those Tremaine Sisters fighting with one another right over his head! Then the parks came along. We started in Epcot, rode Nemo, saw Turtle Talk, had some breakfast at SS and got in line for Living with the Land and DS fell asleep. The next day, after our 8:05 ADR breakfast at Crystal Palace, DS posed for photos with DH and I in front of the castle, and fell asleep before we met up with the family in Fantasy Land. We did every ride in Fantasy Land (accept IaSW) before DS woke up! So, we toured the park and right around dinner time, DS fell asleep again...he slept for 2 1/2 hours, waking up just in time to see Wishes!

He did enjoy himself and DH and I took him back to MK later that week so he could experience those FL favorites that he missed. Oddly enough, DS hated FOTLK this year (actually, I think he just didn't want to sit still). His favorite of this trip was Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. He was awake for it on or first day at MK and 4 days later, before we got back to MK, he asked to ride it again. Since then, he has been Buzz for Halloween and had a Toy Story birthday.

On DS's first trip we bought him a pin-trading lanyard and a few pins to represent his first trip. One with the year 2007, one that says My First Visit, and one of The Lion King. His second year, we added a 2009 pin and a Buzz Lightyear pin. I figure, this is a great collection that won't take up too much space and that DS can enjoy for a long time...each trip adding a few pins.

I have to admit, I won't let him trade these pins so if he's interested in
trading, we'll have to get him a trading kit ;)

So now I'm left with one of two options: Do I surprise DS with this trip or not? I could easily pick him and DH up when I get out of work, tell DS we're going somewhere and it's going to take a while and not tell him. Or, I can tell him. Something tells me that because this will be a special trip because of my sister's wedding that it will be hard to keep it a secret.

Maybe I should save the surprise for the next one :confused3

Up next: Wedding plans...my sister knows I love Disney she's letting me help!

We haven't yet decided whether or not this will be a surprise trip for DS but clearly, we have plenty of time.

So, things are really starting to move on the Wedding front. My sister spoke with the wedding planner and she was able to book her wedding with the date, time, and ceremony location she wanted. Her original reception choice doesn't do a brunch menu so she chose to not do that one. But, did get her second choice reception location and will get to choose her own brunch menu! And to top off what already looks to be a great day, she was able to book a Dessert Party at the UK Terrace that night, with special seating for the viewing of Illuminations!!! I haven't seen Illuminations since 2004 ( I think we saw it on our honeymoon :confused3 ) so I'm excited about this.

A little backstory on my sister. She hates being the center of attention...seriously. She'd probably be happy walking into a courthouse and getting married. Her fiance does not have a lot of family in the area and they decided a "traditional wedding" would be very lopsided. So, a destination wedding it was. When she ever told me she was having a Disney wedding, I squealed with excitement and did one of these  :yay: :woohoo: and then was on :cloud9: because any chance to go back to WDW is good enough, but to be able to see my sister get married in such a magical place will be so amazing.

Anyway, she told me she wanted to get married in April (school vacation) so I could not only be there, but so we could turn it into a family vacation afterwards. I don't know if she understands just how appreciative I am that she's doing this when she is so I can be there.

And, to top it all off, my little niece (my sister and her fiance welcomed their baby girl into the world in May) will be experiencing Disney for the first time and I have the honor of being there to witness it.

*Remember how much I loved DS's first trip?

Now, If I can only make sure that I focus on other things for the next 8 months or I'm going to make my family totally nuts!

Yay! The email went out to family members today about my sister's wedding. She needs to have her room block done by next Thursday! Disney offers unbelievable discounts on the rooms for wedding guests. I can get a great deal on a pirate room for DS so we're definitely doing that. Unfortunately, I have to call and re-book through the wedding block. I can't just transfer my reservation into her block and still get the discount :( Hopefully, by the time I am able to book through the room block, there will still be pirate rooms available.

And, she found out that her rehearsal will have to be the day before her wedding, but they won't be able to tell her exactly when until 45 days before, so I have a great excuse to have to be in Florida on Thursday and get out of work a few days early. You know, if she has her rehearsal at 8 a.m. on Friday, I really need to be able to get down early enough on Thursday to be settled and rested ;) So, now that I know the details, I'll be setting up an appointment to meet with my principal sometime next week to talk about how to go about requesting the extra 2 days off.

It's just pretty cool that things are coming together. April will be here before we know it!:thumbsup2

I last left off with me waiting for a meeting with my principal. So that didn't go was well as I had hoped. Not because she was against it, but because she can't approve that (and I knew that, I was just seeking her advise on how to proceed with our superintendent) and she advised me to meet with my superintendent . In our district, we're not supposed to take personal days off to extend a school vacation or long weekend. There are exceptions of course, but the principals aren't allowed to make them. All personal day requests must go through the superintendent.

I am terrified of our superintendent because of an experience I had a few years back with her. So I sent her an email last week, requesting a meeting, and she called me back today. SHE WAS SO NICE. I told her I felt weird asking because I know why the rules are in place, but it was my sister. She said that what I also needed to know was that there are extenuating circumstances and she couldn't think of one that was better than this . She asked how many days and I asked for Thursday and Friday (wedding is Saturday) and she said "Are you sure that's enough time?" I am still in shock and I'm so excited. I almost cried!

It's funny. When DH and I decided to drive down it was more out of necessity because of money. But since then, I've gotten very excited at the thought so I was bummed thinking I'd "have" to fly (and not just because of the outrageous airfare which is currently sitting at anywhere from $600-800 rt/pp with stops :scared1:).

This is beginning to look like one of those vacations that you remember decades from now! Okay, off to seek out readers! This is going to get better!

Coming soon: The stray travelers that will be joining us and the expectations put upon me...

Wow--I can't imagine my superintendent being that nice about a trip--of course I don't know him all that well. I'm aboard!

Welcome! Actually, I'm completely shocked about the whole thing. I've never liked her and always thought of her to be mean and very cold-spirited. It doesn't help that she looks like the witch in Wizard of Oz (seriously, long, black hair). And I've had very bad moments with her which is why I was so worried about having to approach her at all. I always like those surpises in life when someone takes you completely by surprise like that.

She does have some sisters so maybe she knows how important it was for me. But regardless, I'm now waiting for the actual paperwork that she has signed indicating her approval.

My sister is about to send back her contract and deposit for her wedding and then my PTR will get back up and running! Thanks for coming along for the ride :)

Whew! It's been a LONG 2 months and lots of great things have happened. I've got my fingers crossed that I'll have an exciting announcement in a few months :)

So things are finally starting to happen for sis' wedding. I called on Monday and booked my new room through her room block for the wedding and am now booked in a pirate room water view (up from standard) and saved about $1200!

And, because we're within the 6 month window for dining ressies I've been focused on that. However, I am totally stressing out. I do take this responsibility on myself (which I don't have to) but now I'm freaking. I want to include anyone who wants to be included, but I have no idea who is still coming. As of right now, I have 23 people to book into our ressies and I'm waiting to hear from my mom as to who else she's talked to. I don't really know how to approach this. I'm thinking of calling grand gatherings and making a few smaller ressies rather than one large one for 23. Maybe two ressies for 10 and two for 5 or 6. That way if the people we think will be joining us decide against it, I can call and cancel one smaller table w/o losing the rest of the ressies. I don't want to hold up a table on anyone else looking to book but I can think of at least 4 more people (maybe 8) that will be coming down to the wedding that probably would want to be with us.

UGH! Part of me just wants to make ressies for DH and I and forget the rest...but I just want everyone to have a great time.

We are still planning on driving. Whether we drive straight through or not depends on that announcement I'm hoping to make ;)

Tomorrow is my niece's Christening. It should be a beautiful day and a great time with my family celebrating afterwards. Following the party with my family, we'll be taking a ride to DH's parents house for an October birthday party to celebrate DH's, DFiL's, and DSiL's birthdays this past week.

I called the ADR line yesterday to finally make our reservations. It was driving me NUTS because I could have booked 2 weeks ago. But, I have a pretty good idea who will be with us now so I was able to book with confidence. After a few minutes waiting and listening to what I would describe as the best hold music I've ever had to listen to, a cast member answered the phone. We discussed my plans, she told me she couldn't book 2 of the meals because our party was larger than they were allowed to book and gave me the numbers to call the restaurants directly and book with them. But she could do Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Well, eventually, she learned that CP was out because her computer wouldn't let her for some reason but she booked a reservation @ CM for our party of 21. So, I got off of the phone with her and began to call each of the other 3 restaurants that I wanted a ressie for. I got the manager's voicemail at each one. That simply wouldn't do. What happened to the group dining (grand gathering) line that I used 2 years ago? So, I called the regular dining line back, explained my situation to the cast member that answered and asked if there was a group dining number I could call. He said that I could, but that they would just send me back to him and he knew how to fix it. He proceeded to book my ressie for 32 people at CP, 25 people at Kona cafe, and 22 people at Teppan Edo with very few problems. His solution... book each meal under 2 ressies. DUH! This is a great solution when you aren't insisting on all sitting with one another (which we aren't). And he told me that when we get to each restaurant to explain our situation and that most will be accommodating and seat us together anyway. I'm figuring that this may be more true because we have close to the first ressies available for each meal.

So, our plan is as of now to leave home on Wednesday, April 13th @ approximately 4 p.m. and start driving. We may or may not be stopping at a hotel for a few hours of sleep, depending on that announcement that I am hoping to make in a few weeks ;)

We will arrive at Caribbean Beach Resort sometime on Thursday evening and check into our Pirate Room.

Friday, April 15th: At some point we will have Sister's rehearsal. If it's early enough in the a.m. we may take DS over to Magic Kingdom for the day.

Saturday, April 16th: Sis's wedding and wedding brunch in the morning through early afternoon. Then, later that evening we'll have her very cool Dessert Party @ the UK Upper Terrace in Epcot to enjoy the private view of Illuminations :)

NOW IT'S TIME TO VACATION!!!!

Sunday we're off to an 8:20 breakfast at Crystal Palace. I originally wanted the 8:05 ressie to get into the park before it opens, but the park opens at 8 an I worried we'd get stuck @ the rope drop and be late for our ressie so I opted to push the ressie back a bit. Now, we can get there @ opening, watch the rope drop ceremony and make our way to breakfast :)

Monday we're headed to Animal Kingdom for the day.

Tuesday, no parks planned (yet) but we've got a 5:30 dinner at Kona Cafe.

Wednesday we're hitting up DHS.

Thursday it's time for Epcot with an early ADR (445) @ Teppan Edo. YUM!

Then, Friday will either be spent back at MK with DS or hanging out by the pool and heading to DTD. But first, it's breakfast cooked by the big mouse himself @ Chef Mickey's!

:( Saturday, April 23rd we'll begin our LOOOONG trek home to MA. I haven't decided whether we'll leave in the morning or enjoy some time by the pool before leaving in the afternoon. But, one thing's for sure. Regardless of that little announcement, we're stopping overnight. There won't be any adrenaline or excitement about driving home from Disney, that's for sure :)

Okay, so I've been teasing with a little "announcement" for the past few updates and, while I'm sure you have figured it out by now (if anyone is reading), I'll finally make it official.

DH an I found out on October 10th that we are expecting our 2nd child! :cloud9: We are over the moon about it. It has been a long time coming and a very tough year full of so many doctors appointments. But, it'll all be worth it. We had our 2nd ultrasound yesterday and everything looks great. It was incredible to see the baby moving around.

I am 9+ weeks now, due on Father's Day. So, we'll be driving down to Disney and I'll be between 6 and 7 months pregnant. That should make a fun trip for DH.

At least we have a 4yo traveling with us who'll need the bathroom as much as I will.

I'm pretty sure that we'll find a place to stay that night to get some rest, but I still plan on playing it by year to see how I'm feeling. When I was pregnant with my son I felt great right up until he was born, with very few aches. While it's unlikely that I'll be that lucky again, it could happen ;) .
