Hello all,
I visited these two resorts recently and I still love them. I was staying at POP, but I visited all the resorts at WDW. I spent some time walking around and talking to CMs and guests. Here are some observations about YC/BC.
The pool area is the best pool area at WDW, hands down. You could spend days here. There is a sand-bottom pool, lazy river and an awesome slide. It is situated between the two resorts.
The Yacht Club has a more formal feel to it and is closer to the boat launch (the boats go to the Studios, EPCOT, the Boardwalk and Swan & Dolphin). The Beach Club is closer to EPCOT.
I took the boat around and I must say that it is better to walk! The waiting area for the boat is in the sun and the boat does not have a/c. It was so warm and stuffy inside! The boat ride from EPCOT to the Studios is about 20 minutes.
Both resorts are beautiful and definitely scream DELUXE!
