A Restful Spring Break? - A March/April 2024 Trip Report

Hi Everyone!!! Happy Sunday!

We went on our first offical college visit this weekend!!! EEK! It was kind of cheating, as it was the college Andy and I went to, and we mostly wanted to go back and see the school. But it was good first visit for Morgan to see what college was all about! And I got to see one of my girlfriends who still lives in the area. So, all in all it was a great trip. But now we are trying to catch up before the school / work week starts!

I left us off headed back to the room. It was about 3:51 when we got back.
We headed up to our room and relaxed. It had been a long morning again, and we were hoping to do Extended Evening Hours tonight, IF it stopped raining. So we def wanted to relax.

And it poured for a long time. Which was nice to just be in our room and no where to be. It was perfect planning, in a way!

Finally the rain did stop and we got ready to head out. Extended Evening Hours started at 11:00 and was over at 1:00 AM. So, we didn’t have to rush back to a park. But we did decide we wanted to get into the park and into a land before fireworks ended, so we weren’t fighting the crowds of people leaving or trying to get to a ride afterwards.

So, around 8:00 we headed to Magic Kingdom
Untitled

We walked in to the fireworks starting up. And we decided to get on the people mover, hoping to see the fireworks while on it!

We managed to get back to Tomorrowland and on the ride with time.

And it worked! As we were getting on,I said that the CM at the top had the best view. And she didn’t seem to excited about it.
Untitled
This was a GREAT idea!!!

We got to see them at the beginning and the end! And we saw Tinkerbell Flying as we were getting off the ride and it was PERFECT viewing.
Untitled

We got off the ride on a high from seeing tinkerbell. Highly recommend riding during fireworks sometime!

As we got off, Andy suggested we ride Space Mountain. It was posted at half an hour and we were able to get in line before the drawd from the fireworks loaded in. At least that is what we THOUGHT would happen... IT was 9:05 PM. We headed in, and stopped WAAAYY too far into the straight away of the que.
Untitled

It took forever… It was slow moving and when we got up to the main area, we could see that they were only loading 1 pair of spaceships, which it is why it is moving slower than the other morning.

I texted Andy at one point to tell him it was moving super slow. Andy said take out time, like we could control the wait. But he hopped on Carosul of Progress, so at least he did something.
Untitled

He also informed us that it started to rain again. Which he was not happy about that.

We finally got to the back straight away and all of a sudden we stopped. And I wanted to cry… we had waited so much longer than we had wanted to already.

It was 9:55 by now. We managed to make it around the bend to the loading area. And it fully stopped. They unloaded the ships and walked those people over to the LL side. And then funneled some of us over there as well. And we got SUPER lucky to make it in the first batch that they shifted over.

10:01 PM: Finally ready to ride. Space is becoming not worth it for me. The girls were happy to ride but they said they were good with this ride for the rest of the trip. Thankfully.

We met up with Andy in the dump shop after we were done. And saw that not only was it raining but it was raining pretty hard.

So we poncho’d / umbrellas up and headed out. We pit stopped at the bathroom by Auntie Gravities. And then headed to The Little Mermaid ride. We needed a ride where we could just get on. As we were walking I saw that BOTH sides went down right after we left Space. Which made me feel a little better that we at least got on.

It was around 10:20 when we headed into Little Mermaid ride
Untitled

Untitled

Andy said if it was still pouring he didn’t know how long he was going to last. And I was bummed casue I was hopign twe would all be able to enjoy the EEH all toghter. Thankfully when we came out, it was starting to stop!!!

We passed by Gason's fountain...
Untitled
We decided to do Haunted Mansion. All of the outside rides were still closed for the weather.

It was about 10:40 as we headed into Haunted Mansion
Untitled

There was really no wait for this one. We headed straight on.

I never noticed the bats on the stantions when you get close to loading.

Once we got off, I saw that Big Thunder Mountain was open, so we headed that way next!

It tooks us 3 minutes to walk through the que!
by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

We got towards the front again and just went with it. I will say the front has been more fun than I remembered it being!

Once we got off the wait was still low, so we got in line for a second ride, right at 11:11 PM:
The wait was ever so slightly longer the second time but still super fast. a FULL 5 minute wait this time.

I think we were middle-front this time. Again, we just went with where ever they sat us this night.

I did find time to snap this photo as we walked quickly through the line.

After our two rides, we decided we needed to go do something else. So we headed to Pirates.

Ot was 11:30 as we heading in to ride Pirates

Once we got on the boat and it headed out, we started to go around a corner and we totally got jammed! There was a larger gentleman in the very front left of the boat. He wasn’t that big, but there was just enough weight on the same side that we were not level. I made Gwen scoot over, so I could shift over. I was seriously worried we were going to tip over!

The water un-lodged us and we moved on. A lady in front of us switched seats with her small kid and that also helped a bit. It was just crazy that we could be that uneven!

Thankfully the rest of the ride was uneventful!

The pirate pillaged and drank in meriment as usual.

We tried to go ride the carpets, as we thought we might get our the whole ride to ourselves. But they were testing it to reopen and said it would be 15 minutes. We didn’t really want to ride it THAT badly.

So, we thought let’s ride Jungle Cruise and then maybe it would be back up. Nope Jungle Cruise was literally being shut down for the night as we tried to walk on. Boo.

We decided to back track to some old Fantasyland rides. Gwen requested Small World.

We took a quick bathroom break in the breezeway between Frontierland and Adventureland.

And headed into It's a Small World around 11:50

It was post 15 minutes but there was literally NO ONE.

At first we thought we might get our own boat. But sadly another family came and was loaded behind us.

This was a BAD idea, as sitting for a longer period time made Morgan and Andy very tired. And Morgan started to loose steam.

But we forged on and walked across the way to Peter Pan.
It was now, 12:08 AM. So, also understandable that Morgan was getting tired.

We headed in to ride Peter Pan. There was a posted 15 minute wait, and we did wait a small amount. While waiting Gwen expressed the desire to leave soon. So, we talked about what we still wanted to do and made a plan.

It was a FULL 10 minute wait for Peter Pan! Which is really amazing. No photos on the ride...

We headed to Winnie the Pooh next. (Gwen’s request).

It really was nice and empty. It was the last hour of the event and I assume the rain kept some folks away.

I had been keeping an eye on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but it never came up after the rain. And at that point in the night, I had a feel ing it just wasn’t going to.

We headed into line at 12:23 for Winnie the Pooh

I was slightly worried about Andy’s back on this one, but it really wasn’t that bad.

I was slightly worried about Andy’s back on this one, but it really wasn’t that bad.
And we were in a hunny pot at 12:24 AM
Talk about no wait!

The last request for the night was Buzz. So, we headed that way next.

12:33 AM: Heading into Buzz and we were again on the ride at 12:34 AM: On Buzz

I literally have no idea what I am shooting at, on that right! I did ok, somehow but Morgan was the big winner tonight.
Scores: 32500

After Buzz, it was time to head out. It was only 20 minutes left in the EEH, so it felt like we got enough out of the night!

Headed out of the park

And were were on a boat back to Wilderness Lodge at 12:48 AM

We were back at the resort at 1:00 AM and we all went straight to bed! It was a little rough at the beginging, but ended up being a great night!

---------------------------------Up next... Another rest day..... where we are REALLY lazy...-----------------------------------

You really did get a lot done. Sticking it out really paid off.

I need to keep in mind watching HEA from the People Mover, it really does sound Magical.

You definitely need a rest day after this.

Gosh I miss Extra magic evening hours. You get so much done in those late hours. I'm just too cheap to pay for Deluxe hotels at this point. I always think of other ways to spend that money.

Now - as for college visits - you know I work for a college, right? What is the proposed plan of study? I may be able to help with some suggestions. I also do a LOT of recruiting so I can help with questions to ask if you get stuck or are worried about forgetting something. Hit me up if you want some help.

We went on our first offical college visit this weekend!!!
Holy moley! I can't believe it's time for that! Rob and I are headed back to our alma mater in October for my TWENTIETH reunion Homecoming! I can't believe THAT either LOL

I'm glad you guys were able to stick with it despite the rain. You got so much done and didn't let the rain stop your fun.

I also really love riding People Mover during the fireworks. SO magical!

Loving this trip report. I was laughing so hard at the thought of Andy turning up and not being able to get on the boat and you going without him again!

Also, Journey of Water at night looks stunning 😍 Can't wait to see that in person.

It really pays to stick it out when it rains!

Alot of times we do the split stay to hlp with the cost and we are usually still at the moderate for the MK hours. So I was determined to enjoy it!

I'm glad you guys were able to stick with it despite the rain. You got so much done and didn't let the rain stop your fun.
We got to do a Passholder event a while back and it rained taht night too! I think we are cursed!

I was laughing so hard at the thought of Andy turning up and not being able to get on the boat and you going without him again!
I did have a mini panic. Andy would have been so mad....

Also, Journey of Water at night looks stunning 😍 Can't wait to see that in person.
It was soooo nice to see at night. just a different feel from it being dark and just being less busy.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Life has been crazy! Once school starts all the way till Christmas, I feel like is a sprint for us. Between marching band, school and the holidays it is just ALOT! But I am trying to find time to come back here. So, here I am at the crack of dawn writing up a post!

Day Eight! A True Rest Day!!!

We slept in today! Surprisingly not as late as the other morning. I dragged myself out of bed a little before 10:00 and went down for coffee and breakfast from Roaring Fork. I didn't note what I got, probably similar to the other day. (this is a trend for the day....lack of notes and photos)

We all just relaxed. Morgan declared that her goal for the day was to not leave the room. Would she be able to accomplish that?

Andy finished reading a book he was reading, enjoying the outdoor seating. The girls and I streamed some movies in the room. And all took turns showering. It was a TRUE rest day.

We got an alert at some point saying the Magic Kingdom was closed to Park Hopping! Which was a little crazy. It was a Thursday and Easter was last weekend, so you would think it would be getting less crowded. This made us adjust our plans a bit for the next day.

Early afternoon I got a call from a doctor at hospital asking for some medical history on my mom. I ended up texting a bit with my sisters after that about my mom. Between the park closing for capacity and having to spent some time to deal with medical issues, It really felt like we were meant to have this rest day.

Andy and I decided to go to Disney Springs for dinner. (I had left this day fullly unplanned.) The girls decided to stay in the room and mobile order something. So we set them up with mobile order before we left and I showed Gwen how to click we are here, make my food. Which was not as easy as it should have been! You have to dig into the app to find it!

Andy and I left around 4:00 to get to Disney Springs, And as we made it outside, we saw a bus. And it was of course it was the bus for Disney Springs. Soooo, we had to wait a bit for another one. Andy looked up an uber but there was none near and really would have saved us 5 minutes. So we just waited.

Once the bus finally showed up, it went to the Contemporary also, which took what FELT forever!!! I think it ended up taking an hour all said and done to get to Disney Springs. NOT ideal. But def the worst travel the whole trip.

While we were making our way to Disney Springs, the girls picked up there mobile order. They decided to mobile order from Geyseur Point. They did have a little issue trying to figure out exactly where to go to collect the food from Geyseur point. It was totally clear but they figured it out.

Untitled
Food was acquired!

Morgan got Geyser Chicken Wings with Buffalo sauce and chips. Gwen got Geyser Chicken Wings with Teriyaki sauce with a side of fries.
Untitled

I told them to bring the refillable mugs down with them but they forgot them. I have a sneaky feeling this will be a new tradition for us, a night where Andy and I go out and they have a night in. They enjoyed staying in the room and just chilling.

Andy and I got to Disney Spring right at 5:00.

Goal #1 was to get Andy his Iced Tea Moonshine from Homecomin’ bar. With the new outside bar it was super easy to do.
Untitled
But you can’t get the actual mixed drinks outside anymore. So, I was going to have to go inside it I wanted a Moonshine Mash. I decide to get something else!

We walked across the way to see if we could get some ribs. We have tried to get them before at the windwo and they have been out and would have had to wait for a new batch.

We were able to get an order of the ribs!
Untitled
It was a serving of 3 ribs. Andy snapped a picture and text'd the picture to the girls. They love these ribs as well. They didn’t taste as good as inside. But still tasty.

I ran over to Wine Bar George Wine Basket and got a Frose. We sat down near Morimoto and enjoyed the ribs and our drinks. But it was time to head to the main meal!

Our goal tonight was to try out Eet!!! Ever since they opened I knew we had to give it a try. We love Indian Food.

We were greeted by a hosts who mostly directed us to a menu outside to look at. I assume so people look at it before they get inside? Or maybe to make it feel a little more fancy?

We ordered at the counter and they gave us a beeper thing and said we could sit anywhere. So, we found a table outside as the weather was so nice.
Untitled

As a side note, the outside area where we were was right next to the security for that side. And they were doing bag checks there. Which I found odd, since there isn't a bag check if you come in off the buses or the parking garage...

We decided on 2 items:
Walking Taco
crunchy indian puff snacks, spicy pork chili, indian pico de gallo, tamarind chutney, cotija cheese
Untitled
This one, I really wanted to try. And it did NOT disappoint!!! It was SO good. The Indian puff snack... aka indian spiced cheetos... they were super spiced but added so much flavor to the dish. The "pork chili" was spicy! In a good way. The pico and tamarind chutney toned it down. (Tamarind is super sweet)

This was by far my favorite of the two dishes.

Tandoori Chicken Poutine
chaat masala fries, tandoori chicken, white cheddar curds, rich tomato butter sauce
Untitled
This was also really good! The fries had a nice spice on them that worked well with the butter chicken sauce. It was a more tomato version than Sannaa. But it was def built to work with the spicy fries and cheese curds. Andy said the butter chicken tasted more like my version I make at home.
Untitled

Andy said this one was his favorite. Needless to say, they were both so tasty! In fact, Andy said this might be his favorite meal of the trip!

I texted a picture of my food to my sisters. And my one sister, who is a bit of a foodies knew who Maneet Chauhan was and was jealous that we got to eat here. I highly recommend trying the food here. All of it looks great! And a cheaper, less committed way to try Indian food if you have never had it.

After we ate, we did a little window shopping. We looked in the Christmas Store which I didn’t realize how big it was! Then we stopped in the tea store which smelled amazing. But we have one of these stores t home, so I passed on getting anything.

We finally stopped at World of Disney for me to purchase my sweatshirt. I decided on the blue zip up sweatshirt. I was debating on that or the new It’s a Small World Spirit Jersey. But went with the blue one, since I wanted it last trip and ended up not being able to find it.
https://flic.kr/p/2qgYvps]Screenshot 2024-09-17 at 7.48.00 AM

We walked down to Summer House on the Lake. I wasn’t hungry for dessert just yet but we wanted something to take back to the girls. So, i suggested we try the cookies from there.

I didn’t realize how big they would be. We ordered 4 cookies:

 • Sea Salt Chocolate Chip
 • Krispy Chocolate Chip
 • Creamscicle
 • Cinnamon Bun
https://flic.kr/p/2qgWSGP]Screenshot 2024-09-17 at 7.49.08 AM

With desserts in hand, we headed to the bus stop. We waited a little bit but not too long.

Thankfully the ride back was much shorter. On the way back it was Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. I find it so weird that it isn’t consistent which resorts share buses.

We were back at Wilderness Lodge around 7:30. Once back we shared the cookies with the girls. I have to admit, the cookies were just ok. Particularly the creamsicle cookie. It wasn't very flavorful. I think the chocolate chip ones were the best.

Also, sorry for the lack of photos. Apparently rest day meant take no pictures day!!! I have no photos!!!

Everyone relaxed for the rest of the evening. Andy and I packed up , as we needed to move AGAIN tomorrow…..

We went to bed fairly early. Tomorrow was our last Park day!

---------------------------------------up next a plan for 3 parks in 1 day kind of day!----------------------------------
Untitled

I love Maneet but I am not a fan of Indian Food. But maybe I'll try it when I am down there.

You know, the girls are old enough now for you to not only have a date night but for them to venture into a park for a meal alone if they feel adventurous. The freedom older teens bring!

Sounds like the perfect Disney day off! Nice you and your DH could have some time alone. As fun as WDW is it can also be exhausting. Hope your last park day is a good one!

I remember being able to go off for a date night for the first time at Disney. It’s like the next part of your life is beginning! Lol

Everything looked great on your rest day!

Our goal tonight was to try out Eet!!! Ever since they opened I knew we had to give it a try. We love Indian Food.
I love that you guys did a date night and let the girls stay in! It's so nice now that they're old enough to do that, isn't it?! I can't remember if you and Andy joined the D3 group on face book (disney day drinkers), but they are always posting about drinks and happy hours, etc. throughout WDW. eet has a great happy hour from what I've seen, and secret menu items :) Just something to think ahead for next time!

I spy the annual Hookhand picture coming up in the next update!! :)

This is an excellent point and great idea!
I feel like if you try and it really don't like it, you don't have any waiter to feel like you need to explain why you don't like it. You can just walk away. ha!

You know, the girls are old enough now for you to not only have a date night but for them to venture into a park for a meal alone if they feel adventurous. The freedom older teens bring!
Sigh.... Morgan and Gwen are so NOT adventurous! I feel like I have the opposite problem or really trying to push them to things like venturing along. Disney has been a good place to do that with them, though! It's familar to them, so it doesn't feel as overwhelming.

love Maneet but I am not a fan of Indian Food. But maybe I'll try it when I am down there.
What don't you like about Indian Food. It is very flavor full, so I can get why some folks won't like it. Maneet said this particular restaurant she is trying to make it more accessible for people. My walking taco was spicy but the butter chicken was def not spicy!

We didn't get the bread service but it looks like a good starter version.

Nice you and your DH could have some time alone. As fun as WDW is it can also be exhausting. Hope your last park day is a good one!
It was a good last day. Having the real rest day def gave us the energy for one last full day!

I remember being able to go off for a date night for the first time at Disney. It’s like the next part of your life is beginning! Lol
It is!!! The EPCOT day, when they would go ahead and find the eggs, we started to see what that new life will be like! I do love that they want to hang out with us still. I know teenagers can start to not want to be with them no matter where they are.

I spy the annual Hookhand picture coming up in the next update!!
Spoken like a true disboarder!!! You are correct! We had a whole list of things we wanted to accomplish this last day. And that was one of the items.

I remember when my kids started getting old enough and independent enough to do their own thing in the parks. Poor Brent was straddled with his younger cousins the first time he went off on his own. It became our norm to leave for the park without Michelle and her to meet us later when she was in high school. She just took too long to get ready.

I'm glad you and Andy had a date night. DH and I really enjoy doing this in Disney.

Guys!!!! I have a count down!!!

It's our 20th wedding anniversary next year. We have talked ALOT about what to do. We finally decided on doing our very first cruise! A Disney one of course!

We are going by ourselves. We aren't sure how much the girls will like a cruise, so we are saying this is our "test cruise" We are sailing on a 3 Night Cruise on the Wish in February and I am super excited and nervous This will be a first for both of us.

So, we will take any and all advice!!! We will get one park day before we get on the boat, I kind i insisted we do that. Hopefully we should be able to do Festival of Arts stuff. I want to do a pre-trip report but I just don't have the time or mental energy right now. Eventually, maybe... cause we are also possibly going to California in July and I will def need a place to run things past you all!

But for now, I am just happy to have a countdown!!! Woo Hoo!!
Yay!!!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Marching Band Season is keeping us busy!!! We are 2 competitions down, with 2 more in the "regular" season. Then we start championships! It was rainy here with the outer bands from the hurricane. Def a pain to be marching and spinning a flag in but NOTHING to complain about compared to what others are dealing with. They are doing great and it is going to be another tight season!

They are working on raising money for a new sound system. And they are doing a simple "vertical Raise" Campaign. But we are doing it ourselves. So, I am going to do something I don't normally do. If anyone wants to support Morgan and Gwen, here is a link to donate. You can donate as little as $5. When you donate, you get to leave a little note on the webpage, and I want to have lots on mesages supoorting the girls!

https://eastern-marching-vikings-donations.square.site/

I want to get this next day under way! It was a dozy of a last park day!

Day Nine: Last Day Hit List for Magic Kingdom

Originally we were going to go into the parks later, but after yesterday and seeing MK closing to Park Hopping, we were worried that would happen again. So, we decided to try and get to MK early.

We were also switching hotels AGAIN! So, we were worried about whether we would have a place to rest at some point, but we didn't want to risk being blocked out of getting into MK on our last park day.

We ALSO decided to go Genie + free again today. We just didn’t have the best luck with it, and it was just so $$$. Plus alot of what we wanted wasn’t going to need it. So, we gambled on not needing it.

I woke up around 6:45 and realized I didn't do the Tinkerbell Gifts again. I had forgotten to do so on the AK day so, it was a 2 days in 1.
Untitled
Since, I forgot to do this AGAIN last night but jumped out of bed and laid them out before anyone got up. So we had new MK shirts and headbands for the day!

We managed to get out of the room fairly early again even though we needed to pack up and leave. We realized that dragging the suitcases on the carpet was kind of a pain!

But we made it to bell services at 7:30!
This CM said our bags would arrive at the next hotel between 1-5 PM. Which I feel like is the normal time frame. My guess is the other CM had too many people get mad that there bags weren’t there at 1:00?

We said good bye to Wilderness Lodge. We all agreed that while we don't hate Wilderness Lodge, we all love Yacht Club more.

We walked over to the boat dock and were waitng for a boat at 7:36.
Untitled
It was beautiful on the boat dock!

A boat showed almost as soon as we got there. YEAH!
Untitled

As we were waiting for the boat, I realized that I completely forgot to try for a boarding group for Guardian. I was pretty bummed by this. I had wanted Andy and Morgan to get to ride again since they didn't get to on the EEHs. But they said it was ok. And I really really hate the boarding groups. Just let us wait in line if we want!

It was 7:53 when we arrived at Magic Kingdom
Untitled
Look at this view! I alwasy thing the boat drivers have one of the best jobs in Disney World.

And we were past the turnstiles by 7:57 AM. So half an hour travel time from Wildnerness Lodge. Def one of the perks for staying there. I will say we didn’t have any terrible lines to get through security or turnstiles most of this trip. Only that rope drop day for Hollywood Studios day.
Untitled

We had 3 rides we wanted to ride again that could potentially get long lines, so we decided to hit those 3 first. Take advantage of low morning waits. So, where were we headed? Big Thunder Mountain.

Untitled
It was def low crowds at the moment. It was extended hours from 7:30 - 8:00. So they had just let any non-resort guests in. But I think because it was so early, it was still not bad.

On our way over, Morgan wanted to get a pepper jack pretzel and Gwen wanted a churro. We saw a cart that had both but it wasn’t open yet. So we said we would check on the way back.

We managed to get all the way back to Big Thunder Mountain by 8:02!
Untitled
The wait was posted maybe 15 minutes? And as we walked through the que, they opened up the second side and we were on in no time.
Untitled
I love all of the signs in the que! Baths Weekly!! Could you image working in a mine and only showering once a week!

Untitled
I think they need a Hard Times Cafe Cart selling Apple Dumplings!!!

This morning we were finally got the back row!
Untitled

We were ready to ride at 8:21.
Untitled

Untitled
Andy's back survived the back row. He actually said his back felt alot better at this point. We think actually all the moving around and walking helped stretch it out. He was still wearing his back brace on certain rides to be careful but he was feeling much less worried about his back by now.

One ride down, on to the next one! We checked that cart on our way to our next destination but it was still closed.

Our next destination was Haunted Mansion. We headed in at 8:31
Untitled
There was basically no line, so I took very bad snaps shots as we walked almost directly into the streching room!

Untitled
We were in the stretching room at 8:35!

Untitled
Haunted Mansion was great as always.

We grabbed a photo pass shot on our way out.. We are terrible actors...

After Haunted Mansion, we had another matter that we needed to complete today. We needed to get the traditional Rapunzel Picture! If you haven't read any of my other trip reports, ever since our first trip to Disney, we have been snapping photos of the girls in the Rapunzel area. It was brand new on our first trip and it was just a spur of the moment thing that has turned into a great tradition.

The girls have gotten used to needing to do this, and we get this done super fast now. It used to be an event.

This years photo!

And this is the very first one!
Untitled
It's a little crazy that these tiny nuggets are the same as the young ladies above!

I requested that we stop in Momento Mori’s. I love that the store is just Haunted Mansion stuff. Morgan found a sweatshirt she really liked and so did I. So we decided to get both. (even though I was trying to only get one item this trip) And we also got a Christmas ornament of a doom buggie with 3 happy haunts.

I said as we were leaving, that this ornament was way better than most of them at the Christmas store we were in last night.

Once that was done, we had 1 last ride to hit before it got too busy. So, we headed to Adventureland!

It was only 9:15 when we got in line Pirates

There was technically a line but it was pretty much moving the whole time.

As we got closer to the front, this younger couple with a baby kind forced them though the line, cutting everyone. And we were almost at the front to be loaded and they pushed past us yelling DAD! DAD! They didn’t stop at the point where the CM was asking how many and giving you a row. They just barreled there way to there "dad" And the poor CM both looked SOOOO annoyed. I felt bad for them, as it was just the start of the day. They had a long day ahead of them!

We ended up getting seated behind them, and I really wish I had asked to wait. They tried high fiving people waiting to ride next and they had to stop the ride, do the whole keep your hands arm and feed inside the vehicle speal again.

And then they were yelling at the CM operating. They were just saying hi but it was SO loud. And then they talked through the whole ride. It was a huge distraction. They really were just in there own world and didn't seem to care if they were bothering anyone else around them.

Untitled
We made the most of it, of course.

Once this was done, we had done the rides that would get longer later. And it felt like we could relax now.

I had looked up options for breakfast while waiting in line, and figured out that the cart we were stalking wouldn’t open till 11:00. SO we made a plan B.
