So glad I found your trip report. We’re going to Disney this spring break. I’m nervous that the crowds will be bad but we’ll have the time of our lives no matter what!
Holy moley! I can't believe it's time for that! Rob and I are headed back to our alma mater in October for my TWENTIETH reunion Homecoming! I can't believe THAT either LOLWe went on our first offical college visit this weekend!!!
It really pays to stick it out when it rains! You really did get a lot done. Sticking it out really paid off.
Alot of times we do the split stay to hlp with the cost and we are usually still at the moderate for the MK hours. So I was determined to enjoy it!You get so much done in those late hours. I'm just too cheap to pay for Deluxe hotels at this point. I always think of other ways to spend that money.
We got to do a Passholder event a while back and it rained taht night too! I think we are cursed!I'm glad you guys were able to stick with it despite the rain. You got so much done and didn't let the rain stop your fun.
I did have a mini panic. Andy would have been so mad....I was laughing so hard at the thought of Andy turning up and not being able to get on the boat and you going without him again!
It was soooo nice to see at night. just a different feel from it being dark and just being less busy. Also, Journey of Water at night looks stunningCan't wait to see that in person.
I highly recommend trying the food here. All of it looks great! And a cheaper, less committed way to try Indian food if you have never had it.
I love that you guys did a date night and let the girls stay in! It's so nice now that they're old enough to do that, isn't it?! I can't remember if you and Andy joined the D3 group on face book (disney day drinkers), but they are always posting about drinks and happy hours, etc. throughout WDW. eet has a great happy hour from what I've seen, and secret menu itemsOur goal tonight was to try out Eet!!! Ever since they opened I knew we had to give it a try. We love Indian Food.
I feel like if you try and it really don't like it, you don't have any waiter to feel like you need to explain why you don't like it. You can just walk away. ha!This is an excellent point and great idea!
Sigh.... Morgan and Gwen are so NOT adventurous! I feel like I have the opposite problem or really trying to push them to things like venturing along. Disney has been a good place to do that with them, though! It's familar to them, so it doesn't feel as overwhelming. You know, the girls are old enough now for you to not only have a date night but for them to venture into a park for a meal alone if they feel adventurous. The freedom older teens bring!
What don't you like about Indian Food. It is very flavor full, so I can get why some folks won't like it. Maneet said this particular restaurant she is trying to make it more accessible for people. My walking taco was spicy but the butter chicken was def not spicy!love Maneet but I am not a fan of Indian Food. But maybe I'll try it when I am down there.
It was a good last day. Having the real rest day def gave us the energy for one last full day!Nice you and your DH could have some time alone. As fun as WDW is it can also be exhausting. Hope your last park day is a good one!
It is!!! The EPCOT day, when they would go ahead and find the eggs, we started to see what that new life will be like! I do love that they want to hang out with us still. I know teenagers can start to not want to be with them no matter where they are.I remember being able to go off for a date night for the first time at Disney. It’s like the next part of your life is beginning! Lol
Spoken like a true disboarder!!! You are correct! We had a whole list of things we wanted to accomplish this last day. And that was one of the items.I spy the annual Hookhand picture coming up in the next update!!
Yay!!!Guys!!!! I have a count down!!!
It's our 20th wedding anniversary next year. We have talked ALOT about what to do. We finally decided on doing our very first cruise! A Disney one of course!
We are going by ourselves. We aren't sure how much the girls will like a cruise, so we are saying this is our "test cruise" We are sailing on a 3 Night Cruise on the Wish in February and I am super excited and nervous This will be a first for both of us.
So, we will take any and all advice!!! We will get one park day before we get on the boat, I kind i insisted we do that. Hopefully we should be able to do Festival of Arts stuff. I want to do a pre-trip report but I just don't have the time or mental energy right now. Eventually, maybe... cause we are also possibly going to California in July and I will def need a place to run things past you all!
But for now, I am just happy to have a countdown!!! Woo Hoo!!
