I ordered the Tropical Sunrise Float
Ace Pineapple Hard Cider with Rainbow Sherbet

That sounds so good!! I could get past the color

Dinner was fine this evening, Gwen def enjoyed it, but after going twice this trip, this place is def just ok for me. But Gwen was happy. And it was a fairly cheap meal.

Beaches and Cream is still on my Disney bucket list to try some day! Grilled cheese and tomato soup with ice cream sounds like a great meal.

Those milkshakes are enormous!

Those milkshakes!! Part of me is "Where can I get one and what flavor do I want?" The other part of me is "Oh my. I would be so sick from that much sugar (too much sugar makes me VERY sick)." But even knowing that, I would be game to try!

This one was a Fried Oreo Milkshake. It had fried oreos, mini pancakes, and strawberries on top, with cookies and cream milkshake, in house THICK whipped cream

The front one was a Cookie Monster Milkshake with a donut, a cupcake AND a chocolate chip cookie, with a lollipop and a vanilla milkshake...

And then the one in the back was a Strawberry Cheesecake one, with a piece of cheesecake on top, AND a cupcake and all those gummy strawberries. And the strawberry milkshake was SUPER strawberry!

I got a "regular" butterfinger milkshake. I mean look at the amount of whipped cream!!!

They had a GIANT ice cream sundae you could get for a bargain, $99!!!! It was HUGE!!!

Seemed appropriate since I just talked about Beaches and Cream!

OMG!!!! Guys,.... I am soooo sorry! Life has DEF gotten the best of me.

My mother has been in the hospital twice since Memorial Day. (She is currently there now) She is doing "good" as the doctors say. She has pnemonia and a bunch of bateria. So they are pumping lots of anitbiotics into her at the moment. Unfortantly there is nothing to do but wait for the drugs to do there jobs.

The end of the school year was busy as usual. Gwen has officially graduated from middle school! And she started Color Guard. In fact this week was thre first week of band camp. So, the girls are sleeping in today!

And work was well work. And I was trying not work overtime, so I was leaving my computer in the office. Which left me no computer to make updates. And if I am being honest I was desperate to have a vacation planned and kind of sad that we didn't have anything planned.

I say all of this not for pity but just to let you know I didn't just abandon you guys! I am going to try and get back on track starting today!

Fun in Hollywood!

I left us off a looong time ago on our way to Hollywood Studios. Reminder, It's Easter Sunday, and we just finished dinner at Beaches and Cream.

We arrived at Hollywood Studios around 6:15 PM

And were through security and turnstiles by 6:17!
Made it in

We had 3 LL ready to use for the night. I wanted Milenium Falcon but those were gone before I could get one. Hollywood Studios is a mess right now. (more on that the next day)

This is Gwen’s favorite ride and I do love it!

6:26 we were waiting in line. And in the pre-show room by 6:30

This Pre-Show room wasn’t being used tonight. And we noticed how it really adds to the ride! They were making a pre-recorded announcement about Goofy crashing or something to make up for not seeing the video. But it just wasn’t the same.

and then by 6:34 we were waiting to ride in that last room.

We got the front car this time. Which I think I prefer. I know you see different things depending on which car you get. But I think I like the front the best.

Water Scene

Waterfall
Everytime we are in the "room" where they do the waterfall, all I can think is they need to do this in Figment ride. I am sure they could do something similar to make you feel upside down.

We all love this ride and because I choose this ride, we didn't get MF. But that was ok. We figured we had tomorrow to ride then..... (cue doom music)

Make sure you turn around as you leave the ride! I love this feature and I always think most people don't even see it!

We headed to our next LL.

It was 6:46 as we headed into Toy Story Land
As we walked over Morgan had been saying that there was no Woody in the land but once she saw the giant Woody at the entrance she felt kind of silly.

By 6:47 we were already headed into Toy Story Mania que.

The girls were bummed that we were in the LL because they wanted to see “Lifeguard Larry” in the regular line. Not bummed enough to actually wait in the line.

We didn't do too bad! Morgan is always trying to bet over 200,000 but it had been awhile since we played.

Morgan succeeded! Me, I was sooo close! Gwen get annoyed sometimes cause she doesn't get as high as us but I keep telling her her scores are good. But she gets frustrated.

Regardless, we had fun.

Our last LL was for Aliens Swirling Saucers but no one wanted to use it. So, we skipped it and headed to Star Tours since the wait was low.

I was worried about this ride for Andy. If you don't remember Andy was having some serious back problems right before we left for the trip. But he faired ok! Gwen was not the rebel spy. She claims she is "always" the rebel spy. oye

After we rode, we decided it was time to head over to get a spot for Fantasmic!

I am sorry things have been so crazy for you too. Elizabeth was having horrible migraines in May and we ended up in the ER 4 times with the last one she was showing signs of a stroke. It was just a migraine but we had our first ambulance ride to the Children's hospital. We finally got the migraines under control and this past Saturday she was standing next to a horse (she works with horses) and he flung his head and hit her in the forehead. So it was back to the ER again. Thankfully it was just a concussion (not so good that this is her 3rd. Her other 2 were from soccer) and nothing more serious.

I hope the meds start to work for you mom soon and she starts to feel better.

And she started Color Guard.

Congrats to Gwen!!! She will have so much fun in color guard. Will she just be twirling a flag or will she get to do the rifle and saber as well? I did both the flag and rifle. I still have mine too and take them out every so often.

Thanks. It was pretty productive! Even with only using 2 LL.

Weirdly the start of band camp has kind of settled us into a routine again and given me extra time even though I have to drive them around everywhere.

July camp is 1 morning of sectionals and 2 nights practices. It ramps up in August. Which is still HOT!!

She will probably just be flag this year but they already gave her a rifle to practice with. So, eventually!

She will have so much fun. I am not sure if she wears rings (that is the once piece of jewelry I wear) or not but she should not wear them while twirling. It will flatten the backs of them and can crack the bands. No one told me until after I had done it so my rings are shaped funny now. Thankfully the bands didn't crack.

Glad your mom is doing better! I'm sure the girls are keeping super busy this summer! We've been Jimmy's chauffeur to lacrosse camp, scouts, etc. all summer, but mostly taking it easy. We're about to head to New Orleans for a week while Jimmy's at boy scout camp next week actually!
