As you all probably know -people all over the country and Canada are being affected by this power outage.
My request is that when you go to work tomorrow or tonight, if you are having problems with your phone, internet, data network, credit card network, etc... - please be patient.
Even if your whole state has power, if your corporate office or network host is located in the areas affected by power then you are going to experience problems.
I work for a Network Operations Center. We're in charge of huge networks like 7-eleven, CVS, The Buckle, Bank One, Diesel USA, HAggar, etc... We have entire networks down because their host in NYC is without power. It is very hard for me to do my job and get you guys on back up when I have hundreds of people calling to complain because they can't access their email.
So please be patient. We're all working around the clock to get you up and running. I just got home from work and I'll be back for another 10-12hrs tomorrow because of this. Thanks
