A Really Long Drive Will Take us Back At Christmastime! A Nov 2014 PTR

Hi Everyone and welcome to my Pre-trip Report!

Today is actually 99 days till I am in Disney world again so i thought why not start a PTR!

A little background:

My name is Natalie and this will be my 11th trip to Disney World. To some of you that doesn't seem like a lot but we didn't go as kids, I only went once when I was 13. It wasn't till I had my girls that I found my Disney Obsession!

I am a single mom to 3 wonderful kids. Tyler is 20 and will only be mentioned now in this trip report as he doesn't like Disney

Eryka is 12 and like to pretend she is not a Disney addict but when trivia comes up she always knows the answer! She was also chosen to play Jasmine in her schools production of Aladdin this year. She did an amazing job

Last but not least is Emma who will be 10 on this trip. She thinks shes a Disney addict but she never gets any trivia right, she just loves Disney

This will be Eryka and Emma's 7th trip to Disney World

So the dates for our trip are November 7th to November 23rd

I know it sounds like a long trip but I bought a Dodge Caravan in January so I decided this is the year of Road trips and we will be driving to disney, or I guess I will be driving and the kids will be relaxing

The longest road trip we have done so far is 10 hours home from Philly when we were visiting friends and the kids were fantastic the whole time so I know we can do it

We live just outside Toronto in Canada so we will leave here on Friday and drive to Philadelphia. My friend Katie just had twins so we are super excited to meet the Twince and Twincess!! (Declan and Sarah)

we will spend all day Saturday and Saturday night in Philly then continue our journey Sunday morning.

Now I am not sure how far we will go on Sunday. I think Georgia is reasonable, but my wonderful TA will already be there and will be leaving on Monday so if she can swing a later flight I might just have to test my driving endurance and see how close we can get to Orlando so I can see her Monday before she leaves

For sure on Monday we will arrive and will spend the next 13 wonderful days at Caribbean Beach Resort!

I stayed here in 1999 with that other child of mine but the girls have never been so it will be exciting for them to try a new hotel!

We have 10 day park hoppers with water parks as well. I plan to relax and go with the flow for this trip. Anyone that knows me knows I have a thousand spreadsheets with plans on them but I still would really like to just go with what we are feeling. So if we wake up and it`s out planned AK day and the kids would rather sleep in or hit a different park that`s probably what we will do. We have been enough times that we don`t have to rush anymore

we also have the regular dining plan and have booked some great restaurants. Some we do every trip and lots are new!
