A quick note to the December brides..

I'm not sure if anyone else knows this, or if it's new for next year or what. I didn't know about it until yesterday and haven't seen any mention of it around the boards so just thought I'd share in case anyone can find it useful. I was talking to my coordinator Kristi yesterday (how wonderful is she! I was so relieved, what a sweetheart) and she told me that Disney charges double for DJ's in the month of December, so instead of $1500, it'd be $3000.

a side note. my fiance worked for disney entertainment as a dj and was offered several weddings to do. they only pay $300. and they have to bring their own stuff to set up, at least, that's how it used to be...i wonder how negotiable that price is for you girls...

The DJ is supposed to call a month before!! You need to tell your planner ASAP!!!

I contacted her a few days ago and she said she would tell them to have him contact me ASAP and then she went on vacation and I still have not heard from the DJ. I am getting very nervous and I hope her assistant gets back to me after the holiday.

I would keep calling until you get an answer. are they open on Friday? if you wait till Monday you'll be less than a week out! That would make me nervous too!! Do you already have a list of must play songs, and ones you dont want played at all?

I would imagine they would be open tomorrow as there are probably weddings taking place. You bet your #$% I will be on that phone.
