A Quick Nick update

Hi.

Just a quick update on Nick for those who gave him good thoughts... he is doing better! We are totally shocked and pleased, but he is starting to eat the vet's special hard food on his own. He has stopped vomitting, still has a bit of the runs and needs to drink on his own, but some of the battles he is winning.

He needs to drink still. That can be the determining factor on whether he beats this or not. He looks interested in the water, just hasn't dove into yet, so to speak. I am still forcefeeding him watered down wet food in a syringe.

Here is a picture of why he is so happy to be home! (I think... )

Thanks again for all those prayers, they really worked! I can't thank you enough! I will let you know when he gets out of the woods completely (once he starts drinking and his runs stop).

Oh Karen! I am so glad to hear this!! I have been wondering but was afraid to ask...

Looks like your dd has been busy decorating for the King! I think he has all the Care Bears and other assorted stuffed animals a cat could ever want!! Very cute picture!!

Hope Nicholas starts drinking on his own soon...he'll continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!!

That's great! Have you tried giving him an ice cube to lick? It works with dogs but I don't know about cats.

Glad to hear that he is doing better!!! Have you tried giving him running water (cat fountain, sink) to drink from. Apparently that is more appealing to cats. I just hope he does get better soon
