A quick magic band question

We arrive tomorrow (we are driving) around 2pm and would like to go straight to HS where we have our 3 FP+. We have done the online check in (staying at POFC). Will put magic bands work just going thru the regular turnstiles? Do we need to do anything/show ID? Once we are finished at the parks for the night do we need to stop at the hotel desk or is there a way to know on MDE what rooms we have been assigned? Thanks!!

In most cases, your room number will be texted to you as soon as its ready.

You should be good to go. The bands should work normally. I have gone straight to a park before after doing online check-in and not stopping by the front desk or anything. Have fun!

Ok, thanks! We will go straight to the park. We got bad info from the CM who answered the WDW phone number. They said we had to stop by the hotel to get the MB activated.

In fact, guests who fly into Orlando use their MBs at the DME counter at the airport in order to board their buses TO the resorts.
