a quick intimate question

today i received jacks pac and there is a pink form in there to fill in and send back and it states that the officant fee is $150 and i thought that this was included in your FTW package also they ask you to send back the form asap with the details of your wedding but i can't book mine untill october (altough i do know where we want to be married and roughly what time) shall i wait untill nearer the time or contact jack and let him know the situation(i realy would like to use jack as he seems to be highly recommended

No worries....

That is a standard form. I was married by Rev. Jack Day in October and had to complete that form as well. Unless something has changed since Oct, his fee is included in the intimate weddings. Once you have a confirmed date and time, complete the form and send back!

I would contact Jack via email and tell him your situation--see whether he wants you to send it back with your date and possible time and he can "pencil" you in. He has emailed us various times and seems very nice to work with.

We had Rev. Jack for our Intimate and DH and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him - you'll be very happy with him

We were under the "old" Intimate rules and the officiant was included but I believe Mommy Poppins is right and that has changed.

I agree, send him an e-mail and explain your situation and he will let you know if he can "pencil" you in. He is a very nice man, very caring, and loves his job of making your day the most special day it can be!

I was just married last Tuesday (1/31/06) at the wedding pavillion. Jack Day was our officiant as well. The cost was $150 directly to him. But it was money well spent. He is a wonderful man and added a sentimental touce for us. All of our guests are still talking about how wonderful he is.

I was so out of it as far as remembering things the day of the wedding, even with my multiple lists! Thank goodness my best friend was there to help my MOH or I can't imagine how anything would have gotten done! So, I forgot Rev. Jack's card in our room. But, I did mail him the thank you card and a token of appreciation ($40) along with a picture of us with him at the wedding, once we got home from our honeymoon. His fee was included in our DFTW price so I didn't have to pay him directly or else I would have included the tip in the total.

Sadly the officiant is no longer included in the package for intimates. I waited until I had my date on hold- 1 year out- so that way all I had to wait on was the contract from my EM. Then after being assured that I had the date and time I sent the info back to Rev Day.

No, the ladies are right - the officiant fee is no longer included in the Intimate package. Our contract was signed before the year ended, so its based on when your wedding is rather than when you book it.

In all honesty, I'd rather pay Rev. Jack the $150 and get the extra photos that were added to the package this year - jmho!

Ashley is right Jack's pack comes through the mail, I just got it a few days ago. All of the info is in print and really can't be posted on here. Just fill out his form online and you'll get it in a few days

Just an FYI - I am a custom bride & spoke to Rev Jack a few days ago, his fee went up to $250 for our May ceremony, not sure if this is for intimate bride's also.
