A Question that's Driving me Nuts about old attraction

Okay, I haven't been to Disneyland since around 1978, so please bear with me here. I read on another thread about "Journey into Innerspace", and I seem to remember this attraction from when I was a kid, and that I was a bit freaked out by it, but I can't remember what it was all about. Can someone fill in my memory gaps and let me know what happened in this "journey"?

Are there any good online sources for old Disneyland attractions that are not there anymore? A trip down memory lane would suffice until I get there in person again.

Yes! The Adventure Through Inner Space. It's one of the ones I remember as a child during my first visit. The only parts I still can still visualize are views of a giant snowflake and the 'eye' at the end of the attraction.

That was a great ride! I really missed it not being there on my last trip a couple of months ago. It was my first visit to DL in 20 years and Innerspace was one of my favorite rides when I was a kid
