a question from a clean freak about pools at wdw

We stayed at the Dolphin for 10 days this past July and every couple of days the "peeool" was closed for "biohazard" cleaning. I think any kid/baby in diapers should not be allowed in adult pools.

To be quit honest a baby diaper does not bother me.

It's not contagious.

I'm more concerned about people with scabies ore head lice ore people that refuse to taking immunes shots for measles ore polio that are swimming in these pools.

To be perfectly honest, I'm much more concerned with the germs I could pick up on the various hand railings in the parks than what I'm going to get in a pool. My resort room gets wiped down, just once (sink, toilet handle, remote, door handles). But I can't wipe down all those railings and bars in the parks. That's when I take the Purell out. But, I have few concerns about the pools. Man, have you any idea of what's in the lakes and oceans?? Most pools are going to be hugely cleaner!!

Totally agree,
Over 15 trips to wdw, swimming in almost every pool and water parks. Never had any thing happen.
i'm willing to bet most people get more germs from exchanging money or your room keys at WDW.

I used to go to Disney and use the pools and not even thought about germs, accidents but read on time on the board about poop in the WL pool so now i don't use any pool at a hotel, just turns me off to even stepping my toe into it. :scared1:
