BF doesnt drink...so I cant get him there...but he has never been known to say no to anything I want!!! The first time he ever said "yes dear" my mother said to cherish these moments b/c he will never say it again...3 years later...he still says "yes dear"

forgot to let you know! You have great taste!! If you know the "4C's", you will be fine!! Actually, G-H color is nice, but for clarity don't accept anything less than a S-1 . S-1 or higher and you will be fine! You can have a great color grade, but if the clarity is not that, you will never see the beauty!

Any jewelery that BF has gotten me has been from Tiffany's! We looked at engagement rings there...for 1karat G color and I think VS clarity is was like 13,000 $ um can you say I wont be getting an engagement ring from there!!! *LOL* but who knows we'll see.

We'll find something on this trip...just dont know what yet...

We have also shopped at Columbian Emeralds, but keep in mind that there are several places with a name of or like "Columbian Emeralds". I would recomend that check the shopping guide and stick with the Columbian Emeralds recomended by Disney. We've purchased several items there in the past at very reasonable prices.

Thats what I'm hoping for...definately going to attend-or at least watch that lecture before we get off the ship...
Does DCL provide a map of Nassau as well as location of these jewelery stores?
Needless to say I have no clue where I'm going...

Sorry for the late post , have been busy since returning 2 wks ago. 3 yrs ago while vacationing in the Bahamas we went to the Jewellery Mart in Nassua. I bought a Blue Spinell ring and a very larg chunky bracelet. the bracelet was 1400. and apraised here for 3600. I did good. I even haggeled before paying . This time we went back to the same place and I was on a mission for an omega necklass. Got IT, did very well with that also. have not yet had it apraised. I saw several other things , but they will have to wait till next trip. We got off the ship went right there, and back to the ship within an hr. happy shopping and enjoy.

My wife has purchased 3 separate items, 1) gold bracelet 2) white gold necklace,newest and 3) a ring. All three items are genuine and the appraisals were much higher than the purchase price.

We shopped at one store in Nassau for all three. The Jewelery mart. Its located on the main shopping drag on a corner. The store faces the ships and can be seen from to ship.

We have never had a problem with purchases and even after getting a bottom line price with a 40% discount my haggling wife managed to get the price reduced even more on the bracelet. If you work 'em you will benefit.

We usually compare at other stores and ended up back at the mart. Good luck.
