A question for those who have received Virgin Holiday tickets recently....

My work colleague is off to the world Oct 19th to the 29th, the holiday was booked over a year ago with and added Disney tickets onto the booking 6 months ago.
He has received all tickets/vouchers yesterday only to find a voucher for deluxe DDP which when he booked, he was not eligible for. He is staying at ASM. He rang his VH Travel Agent and she said if you have a voucher, 'it's our fault, keep it, you might have got dining plan when you booked park tickets', But he is worried about not having the voucher being honoured, after all it is free food. or worse asking for money at check in.
Anyone else found any freebies in thier red envelopes recently?

Has he checked the original invoice that he has not been charged for it?

I remember a similar post a while back, don't think they actually got it at check in, you don't actually hand over any vouchers, all you do is give your name its what is on the computer that counts. If the DDP is not on the system they won't get it, if it is they will.

Is there anyway disney could tell him if he rang them (assume he can get his disney reservation number from Virgin)

I'd be dying to know so I could frantically book adr's.

I am working with him today, when he told me about this mistake he said that someone from Disney would contact him to sort out all of his ADR's. From years of lurking on this board and years of Disney holidays, I have never heard of this staying at ASM, I will probe for more info today.

If you get the 12 digit wdw booking reference (different from the virgin one and used for adrs etc) you can bring your booking up on the Disney USA site and it will confirm if there is dining included - mine says magic your tickets and dining.
