A question for those in the know about the Halloween party

We are down at Disney as I write this. We went to the Halloween party on Thursday night and will attend tomorrow on Saturday night too. My daughter had heard (in advance of our trip) that a few rides were different for Halloween. Examples: that the Haunted Mansion had a few Nightmare before Christmas touches, and It's a Small World also had Halloween changes. We rode both on our first night. .. and didn't see or hear anything different. Well go back for second rides if there is something we should notice. .... but not bother if it's the same as it normally is. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Those two rides do not have any additions. It's only in Disneyland where the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay can be seen at Haunted Mansion.

Only Disneyland in California changes the Haunted Mansion to a "Nightmare Before Christmas" overlay every year. No changes are made to any attractions at WDW in Florida.

The night I went (October 18th) they had "the bride" outside the haunted mansion telling stories and talking to the crowd in line.

They also make some changes to Space Mountain at Disneyland, turning it into Ghost Galaxy.

The Small World change the OP is thinking of if likely the holiday version of IASW at Disneyland.

Sorry, OP. No holiday overlays at WDW.

The only changes I noticed at HM was that the CMs were wearing makeup and spider webs. Just more decked out for Halloween. I didn't notice anything in the rides themselves.
