A question for the V&A vets

I looked at the menus on WDWIG and the look interesting to say the least. DW and I will be there for a late anniversary trip in December and would like to try V&A.

My question is, since we have simple tastes, do they have a chicken and a beef on the menu every night?

TIA

I would say that there was always a beef dish and a fowl dish but no necessarily chicken. We've had duck and pheasant as choices.
Tell the server what you like and they can adapt any dish to your taste.

I agree. I am not a gourmet eater (chicken fingers are more my taste) but I enjoyed everything on my two visits there. If you go in with an open mind, and be prepared to be pampered for two hours as they keep bringing food to you, you'll have a great time.

P.S. You MUST get the wine pairings with your meal. I highly recommend that.

Always a beef dish and that is almost always a Filet.
Windermere is right-- always a poultry selection, but not necessarily chicken. Last time out, it was Pheasant Roulade with Lump Crab and Italian Couscous. Should add that the size of the filet at V&A is nothing like Shulas--would probably take 3-4 of V&A servings to reach that size.
But as I like to say--the meal experience at V&A is a '"sum of it's parts".

I found two of our menus. One offered veal, swordfish, filet of beef or pork medallions. The other had beef tenderloin, lobster, veal or duck. Both of these menus are older...'89 & '93. I hope you enjoy your dinner!

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll try to talk DW into it.

UR, you know me, the walking Shula's ad. I wouldn't expect the size but I would and can tell the quality is the same or better.

We dined there in May of this year and our choices were:
Spring Chicken w/fresh Morels and Foie Gras
Virginia Black Bass over Corn and Crab Pillow
Grilled Prime Filet over Onion and Potatoe Puree
Colorado Lamb with Goat cheese Gnocchi

A true dining experience. Portions are small, but by the end of the evening DH and I were pleasantly content.
