So I am a size 00, yes a double zero... I am very small.. For those of you that are smaller than a size zero where do you buy your clothes? I have to get most of my clothes from Ann Taylor, however you have to order them through the website as they do not carry double zero in the store..

Can you tell me where you are ordering your small size clothes from?

TIA :goodvibes

I am not a double zero but I had a friend in high school who was and she shopped in the kids section. Seriously. She was pretty short too so if you are taller not sure that would work for you.

I shop at EXPRESS in the mall. Their size 0 is really like a 00. At most places, I can't wear anything but I can wear sizes 4-0 here. Their extra small shirts are too small for me here, so, their clothes run very, very small.

DW is a 0 and gets almost all of her clothes as Banana Republic these days. I think they have 00.

While I'm not a size 0 now, I was a few years ago. I shopped at The Limited, Express, American Eagle, and Banana Republic. They all have smaller sizes.

I took DD13 to Delia's today and many of the pants came in a 00 size. They were standard corduroy long pants, so you might be able and willing to wear them.

15 years ago I was a zero. I had to buy something in the kids department. They did not have 00 back than. I'm still a 0 there is just a 1 in front of it ;)

My daughter wears size 00 jeans and buys hers at Pacsun.

They sell clothes there?

Newsflash - you can be a size 00-0-2-4-6 etc. and NOT have an eating disorder!

For real! I gander to say there have been less people to die of their size at 00,0,2,or 4 rather than 22 and up! It is disgusting to say that a fit and trim woman has an eating disorder. I wear a size 2 on a good day, and I promise you, no one would think I was "deathly skinny". I'll look through my photo bucket and find a picture to post. I dare say, obesity kills a lot more people then eating disorders.....and most thin people DON'T have eating disorders.

Also, my 5 year old eats all the time, ALL the time and is nothing but bones, it is inherited.

Ann Taylor LOFT is now carrying 00 in the stores.

Yeah...I'm not going to hide my face and pretend I did not report WorldyWise's post.

Good luck shopping MsDisney23!!:)

Yes, my size 2 (sometimes 1 or 0) is knocking on death's door.....someone please make me eat.....

Actually the 00 size has nothing to do with women having eating disorders and everything to do with women (and men) getting larger and larger. Let's face it, clothing manufacturers can make $$ on vanity and if a woman feels better about buying a size 14 rather than a size 20 they'll cut clothes bigger. If a size 20 becomes a 14 then a size 6 becomes a 0 and a 4 a 00.

My mom has a dress she wore about 30 years ago that's a size 12. My mom asked me to try it on one time (I'm a size 8) and I couldn't zip it up.

Excellent point.

Wow, I am offended for all of you and I am certainly no where near a 0 or 00. More like a 2 in front of the 0.

I have plenty of friends who are very healthy and where a 0 or 1, they are just small.

I know!! Me too... on all 3 accounts.

Looks like the report worked. The post went POOF!!pixiedust:

Please!!!

When you see a rude or attacking post, PLEASE do not quote it. That makes clean up much more difficult, because now we can't just remove the original problem post. We also need to remove EVERY post that includes the rude comments. A lot more work and a lot more time, and often the thread doesn't make a lot of sense after that.

This has been the cause of many threads that would otherwise be salvageable being deleted.

I use to be that size and bought close at 5-7-9 shops. Now my DD is that size and she gets most of her clothes at American Eagle, Aeropostale, Gap, Hollister, and lots of other little hip shops in the mall. She knows them all. I just follow along with the money.

Oh, FYI my dd is only 12 not even 5' yet and is at a healthy weight. Not that I should have to justify this to you.

Yours doesn't, mine does - sorry for the offense. It is, however, a very unusual size as demonstrated by the OP's OP.

There are obviously healthy people on both ends of the bell curve but it is obvious that there is also danger lurking on the extremes. The fact is that 4% of the population suffers from an eating disorder and that 10% of them will die from complications thereof.

Of course, that leaves 97% of the population without EDs. However, when I start thinking about the 1.5% extremes on each end of the normal curve, my guess is that roughly 50% the 00 crowd are disordered. Thank God you're DD is not the 1 in 2.
