A question for Mother's of Boys

I seriously think you need to talk to whoever runs the park district, schools or where ever the kids are playing and have them add port-a-potties or something for the kids to use. Every ball field around me has port-a-potties during soccer and baseball season.

I'm afraid that the people would over that. A lot of the parks do have facilities of some sort or another, but not the schools. And a person isn't supposed to use the school restroom, even if the school is still open. I have before, but they don't want people walking through the halls who do not have business (no pun intended ) in the school. The park that we were at last Sunday had a restroom, but whoever was supposed to have unlocked it failed to do so. It wasn't our home field, so nothing I could do about that.

Hmmm, I think this friend better start teaching her boy that is NOT acceptable to pee on people's houses, or he might find himself in jail when he gets older.

I think it is a bit early to start predicting jail time... He is a 3 year old who is having problems with potty training. Not a big surprise for a 3 year old! Mom should still have him in pull-ups when they go out of the house.

Are there really camping places that don't have restrooms? We grew up going camping a lot and there was always a restroom. I'm taking DS camping next weekend and there is a restroom. Even if it's far away, he's still walking to it rather than peeing outside.

There are two kinds of "campers." One is the kind who pays for established campsites, with tents, bathrooms and showers and all kinds of equipment, like grills and secure garbage places. Sometimes they have RVs.

The other group looks for a clearing in the woods, throws down sleeping bags (maybe under a lean-to), digs a hole to build a fire, and pees in the woods.

The latter group doesn't believe the first group is truly "camping" and the former says the latter are "roughing it."
