I asked this once before, and for the life of me, I can't find the original thread.

Anyhow, when I click on a link (any link, not just something here on the DIS), the new window opens up very tiny. I tried expanding the new window and immediately closing the original one, restarting the computer, deleting cookies. Nothing seems to work. How can I fix my settings so that when I click on a link, the new window opens up full size?

Thanks!

Get Firefox...

No seriously, I am not joking. This was happening with me and I finally just gave up and downloaded Firefox then deal with it. Firefox has made my surfing much smoother and I have less issues then I have ever had with IE.

I keep getting upgrade notices from Microsoft about how I should upgrade to IE7 and I won't do it again. I've tried it twice and both times have gone back to IE6. I didn't like IE7 either. :headache:

I tried maximizing it with both the maximize button and by clicking and dragging. Both times, after I closed the window (and closed out of IE completely) and then clicked on a new link, the window still opened small. Help?

Try closing the second window that you expanded FIRST. Then close the first window.

Woohoo! That fixed the problem. Thanks!

Ditto here! Get Firefox. You won't be sorry. It's much safer.
