Just wondering for those that attend HHN is there any difference in going in September?

What I mean is I was looking at going again this year but can't make it work for the usual dates we go in October. But we can go in September. Is it as good? Is anything lacking? How bout crowds - the same? I got a good AP rate and airfare is on sale. It looks like it would be the first sunday but second week of HHN. I'm going to try for a thurs-sunday.

Any days better than others? I also really like to do the RIP tour but I'm just wondering if the event needs time to become its best.

Then I say - so what - at least we can go! :thumbsup2

Thanks! :)

I always go opening night and throughout the event. There's not a whole lot of difference from September to the end of the event. The one thing I will say is...early in the month the scareactors are still growing into their roles but by the middle of October everything should be running smoothly. Crowds are lower earlier in the event but HHN is so popular now there is hardly a slow night any more.

i went to hhn for opening weekend twice.
once the media and news crew leaves, the park is extremely doable, meaning low attendance compared to other weekends.

after that i started going in it's 3rd week, which i enjoyed more.

lot of kinks worked out by that week leading up to columbus day period for the houses and shows.

i say go when you can no matter what date it will be.

if you go opening weekend in september, it is better than having to sit at home.

Thank you both! It's actually the second weekend so they have a week plus the rehearsals.:thumbsup2

Just booked the air so it's done. Have to decide where to stay!

Like you said macraven - better to go when we can than not at all. ::yes::

see if the rph ap rates are still $144/night for late september.
i booked early oct with ap as it goes to the 4th so far and rest of my stay is smsm.

well, i booked in january and modified 2 months back to ap for early oct days and kept rest as booked prior.

Cheers!

I booked the RPR and got the $144 for thursday and sunday.:thumbsup2 I can spend the money I save on a RIP tour! :cool1: Haven't stayed there is a few years, looking forward to it - thanks!

Now I can't wait to start getting some details for HHN. I know, I need patience. BUT, when do we start hearing - July - August?

probably sometime in July we will have more info released from universal.

i use other sites for info about hhn.
someone usually posts on the forum when info starts to become known.

This will be my 3rd year going the 2nd weekend (10th year total!).
Always have a great time, its HHN!! crowds are decent, We use express anyway. We are staying at the RPR 6 nights. Gotta love that low rate.

unoffically, disaster que is most likely the walking dead house.
