A question for American Girl fans

Hi
we are also looking at going to AG store in LA on our final day in the USA.
DD will be almost 6 and I was thinking about an itty bitty baby for her. But I suppose she could choose when we arrive.
It's a pity they don't ship a catalogue to Australia.
Do you feel that the boy dolls would be played with by a boy? My DS will be 3 and I am worried he may feel that he is missing out.
How far in advance can you book the cafe? Is the brunch/lunch/afternoon tea the best do you think?

Thanks
C

Hi,
My sister has given the itty bitty bay by to a friends son - and yee he played with it - it would depend on your son.

I would let your six year old choose - she may like one of the older looking dolls.

You could email them as son as you know your dates, also if you speak to a personal shopper they may send you a catalogue.

BTW - for those buying itty babys, I bought my 3 y.o niece one of the 'in-store only' item of a pink hoodie - my sister has said it is really easy for her to put on her doll.
