What do you generally tip the staff in the club lounge if they help you with reservations and stuff. I haven't seen any posts based on tipping for the club staff and was interested in the subject for our upcoming stay. :goodvibes

Good question. I'd like to know that too. If they make dinner reservations do you tip them? What others circumstances would you tip them and how much?

We generally don't ask them for help with reservations, because at our first stay at RPR we were told twice by the staff in the club that the restaurants at City Walk do not take reservations and we should just use our key to get preferred seating.

However, our last stay at HRH, DS lost a tooth and we asked one really nice woman if she could write a note from the toothe fairy. She went to town with it andd drew pictures etc and was careful not to be seen talking with us while DS was near. DH tipped her $5 for her efforts.

I tipped 5 $$ for changing seats and printing boarding passes husband tipped 5-10 nightly for drinks

We never tip for concierge services unless it's something really out of the ordinary and requires a lot of extra effort on the part of the concierge. Fixing drinks, printing boarding passes, making reservations at Park or City Walk restaurants, sending out clothes for dry cleaning or repair, for example, all falls under normal job duties as far as I'm concerned. Tracking down a size 10 navy blazer at a local department store to replace one that was lost in transit, arranging for a violin solo at the restaurant for your anniversary, or finding a local jeweler to engrave a memento of your stay before you leave, now that's what I would call special services which would justify a tip.
