I'm staying at the Poly in July 2008!!:goodvibes I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions or tips on the best building for a standard view room??? We want a room close to the food court and transportation stops. But we don't mind if the room is about a 5 minute walk from the food court and transportation!! Also if you guys could share some pics of the building you recommend that would be great!!! Thanks for any help!!!:)

Unless you are disabled, I cannot imagine a five minute walk from anywhere in the Polynesian to the food court, the monorail, or the bus stops. The resort is simply not as big as some people make out to be. The only walk that might reach 5 minutes is the one to the TTC to catch the direct Epcot monorail.

If you really want to be quick about things, then I'd suggest Niue. Its a hop to the resort monorail, a skip to Captn Cooks, and jump to the bus stop. Its also very close to both pools. (Though it was formerly a smoking building, it has a great location and is no longer for smokers). Samoa is my favorite though.

Hey Princess Brittany...we will be at the Poly as well next July! When are you going? Our stay is July 19 - 26, 2008. Hopefully we'll see each other there!

Here is a great site w/lots of info on the Poly that I use quite a bit.

we're staying at the Poly for the first time over Christmas:cloud9: I can't wait. You won't be any further than 5 minutes from anything. Ohana and Kona Cafe are both great places to eat !
tikiman 2001 w/no spaces.

Also thanks CoolPool and lindakmonty!! I guess I am fine with any building just if it's not far from the GCH!! Thanks Again!!

You can't get closer than Niue, that's for sure. But if you don't mind a 5 minute or so walk, you can stay pretty much anywhere.

Check out Tikiman's site. We can't post it here, but you can search "Tikiman" and find it pretty easily. :)

Thanks everyone!! I don't mind a 5 minute walk because, your in Disney!! Also I know about Tikiman's Website it is very helpful!! I love that there is a Dole Whip Machine in the resort!! So keep it up with the very helpful tips!!
Thanks Everyone!!!:)

We really liked the Polynesian, but felt that the walk from Tahiti to the Great Ceremonial House was too long. I would recommend Samoa, Hawaii, or Tokelau. :)

Thanks simonkodousek!! But I just wanted to tell you that the Hawaii building is for Club Level people only. It is not worth the money paying for Club Level I think. But Thanks for the help!!
