A question about the "groups" on the CB

and I visited......and I lurked and visited.....and lurked some more.....a nice group of people that made me feel welcome.....I have been to the dolphin a few times.....hehehe and we do discuss that .....and who is going where when......and our families and loved ones.....yah ....these ladies and gents are a great group.......they always made me feel welcomed ..........and for that I thank each and every one of them.....I like it.....

LOL, Cookie, yes. But, I must say, a good experience, a learning one. I have a good idea what they go through, but like many things in life, glad I did it, could not get me to do it again. (And I know better than to say here, 'Back when......)

These groups can be intimidating for new posters because everyone seems to know each other so well. It's also difficult for people who don't post regularly like me but I can say that no one has ever seemed unfriendly. A little odd maybe but not unfriendly.

I have to echo Lars & Steph... I will not ramble on about them... but every thread I have stopped in on (and I have with many) have been very welcoming! Whether I stay or not, is my choice but never because I felt left out or not wanted.

Helenabear is right! I do not participate in ANY of those groups but have stopped by and they are always friendly!! Heck, I even went to RiddleCon and I was never a Riddler! A VERY welcoming group!

Planogirl, I've got to say, I really only got to know these people that well through the posting... and that has lead to some amazing friendships!!!!!! It may be intimidating at first to jump in, but what I've gained sure outweighs anything else!

I need to say one more thing... Rose Mary... who let those two out of their cages? Goodness knows how we keep memebers around with those two let loose

One has to start somewhere. I too have felt that shyness in my day and so understand.

However, in order to overcome shyness, one must just jump in and start somewhere. I've peeked in at many "groups" and have Always felt wecome.
Mostly find myself hanging around YaYas or the WISH board just 'cuz there's not enough time in my day to be "everywhere."

Jump in! It's fine. You will certainly learn to enjoy the friends you will make here.
