I was wondering if a baby (un-ticketed infant age) has to be counted in the ADR party size? For example, if my party is myself, my husband, my mother, our 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son, do i need a party of 5 reservation? or can i get a party of 4 since he just eats off of my plate anyway?

in my experience, we get a 4 top table regardless and he goes in a high chair at the end and we have an empty chair anyway.

could i do a party of 4, list the ticketed folks as the dining party and he just goes along? thanks, Dis'ers!

1) yes, even "la babies" have to be counted as a dining guest.
2) Also, be aware that if the baby makes 6 people, the automatic 18% can be applied. (Up to your SERVER's discretion.)

NOTE: Frequently, there is not enough aisle-room to add a highchair, so it is not a case of them taking only a little space.
