A question about PACKAGES and FEATURES

I am thinking about purchasing the SILVER pkg. for our next trip. I've been going through a projected itinerary, comparing event and meal prices to see if we'd actually get our money's worth.

When I read the info, it sounds more confusing than it needs to be. Basically, it sounds like you get "x" number of features / guest / night, but you can combine some features, and you don't actually have to use them "per night," right?

I read where they keep up with your "account" and you can get an updated daily "balance."

So, is it like a debit system for the duration of your trip, where you start out with a certain number of points (or "features"), and your points are subtracted as you use them? For each meal, a point is subtracted; if we go to a show that requires you combine 2 feature-points (per person), that would use up 2 more points, etc.

You got it. The amount you receive is based on per person per night... However the "Wishes" are in a "pool" persay and you can use as many as you want... It is not like you have to use 4 per day or you lose them, if you use less one day you can double up the next day. Just like you said it is like a debit account, you have X amount in there and you can use them however you like.

The front desk is able to give you a running balance through your trip if you lose count and want to know how many are left :)

We are going with the silver package for our upcoming trip and for us I think it will work out great!

It will just be me and hubby. I priced the meals and basicly we are paying about the same it just allows us to pay in advance and not worry with it while we are there.

Be smart about your wishes and the way you use them and you should be fine.

That's what I thought. Our next trip will be another Mom & DS trip, and the "having everything paid in advance" part is what I was going for. It looks like we'll be more than able to use all our "wishes" (thanks for the correction) and get our money's worth.

Now, why couldn't DISNEY word it a little different. I had to actually use my brain and THINK to come to that conclusion (of the debit-concept).
