A Question about Disney toys....

I am not sure if this is where to post this question so if it isn't, feel free to move it...

As a few of the people on here know, my son Kevin has Autism. But this doesn't keep him from being creative. He has gotten on this Splash Mountain kick ( a ride at Disney) and he has combined multiple toys to help simulate a Splash Mountain of his own.... This involves his buckets, a thomas tunnel, a hot wheels bridge and a Thomas bridge. The left side goes up, and the right goes down for the big splash.

My question is, does Disney actually sell their rides as toys?? I have seen a monorail when we were at DW, and I have seen a train. But it would be REALLY cool if they could market Splash Mountain as a toy for kids. Wondering if any one has seen something like that.

Thanks!

What a cute idea, I love his creativity! Several years ago I remember seeing ride type toys for Disney in KMart. My DD at the time was just a little too old for them and we weren't full on into our obsession yet, so I didn't get them, but now wish I had. :guilty:

Can't remember them all, but there was a Dumbo and a teacups along with several others. Maybe try e-bay and see if anything comes up.

Hi Catkramer,
I'm the mother of 2 autistc sons, age 7 and 10. Don't you just love their creative minds. It blows me away sometimes.

I know I saw some toys at WDW that were the ride cars, like the Buzz Lightyear ride and the splash mountain log. I bet your son would love those. But I've never seen a track and buildings to go with it. That would be cool.

I have bought several of the die-cast metal ride vehicles at Once Upon a Toy in DTD. Super cute.

Thank you for all of your responses. I think they should make a toy like this. I know my son would just LOVE it. I can't imagine that other kids wouldn't like this toy too! Could you imagine having the belt go up and the logs going over and making that splash? HAHA My son would have a BLAST!
