A question about Crocs.

I've read on the croc site that there should be 1/4 to 1/2" space all around your foot and the shoe is supposed to be loose. Well, if they're not touching your foot, how do they stay on?:confused3

I cant really explain it but the website is correct...I tried on 2 different sizes, 1 that fit like a glove and the next size up, the larger of the 2 is much more comfortable...........its sorta magic...LOL

My concern is for my dd. She gets blisters easily and I wonder if the crocs will rub her foot since they are loose.

they really dont slip and slide. thats the oddest part...even with the strap in the front they dont...i honestly cant explain it

Thanks, I'm definately going to get some for her. I've shown her the various colors online and, now she is having difficulty choosing a color.:rotfl2:

A woman who goes to my WW meeting wears bright green Crocs. A few weeks ago, I noticed them, and thought how ugly. Then I realized they were Crocs, and couldn't figure out how these shoes got to be so popular. Yesterday, I noticed how big they looked on her. Her toes didn't seem to go to the bottom of the shoe.

So, people like bright colored shoes that look to be way too big for your feet? :confused3

*** disclaimer: This is my own personal opinion, and I know I have no fashion sense what-so-ever. So just because I think Crocs are ugly, do not feel offended if you wear them. What do I know? LOL

I'm not offended at all. I really could care less what people think of me or the way I dress. By the way, I have no fashion sense either ;) I just wear what I like. I don't have crocs but, am definately getting them for my dd who has issues with her feet.

I have three pairs. Yes, they are probably the ugliest shoes I've ever owned, but they are so comfortable! I live in mine.

And I'm prone to blisters, but have never gotten one from my crocs. Maybe it's the bumps in the bottom that keep them from shifting? :confused3

That's why I'll never have the red ones. They look like clown shoes. :rotfl: I love my crocs, but mine are dark brown. I'd also like pale yellow and lavender. You'll never see me in anything like the bright yellow ones. It's just way too startling.

I bought a pair just before our cruise and WDW trip in September. Other than dinner on the cruise, that's all I wore. After being in the parks all day and wearing them, my feet didn't feel tired at all. I had a few CM's at the park and at Wilderness Lodge stop me and ask about them. They said they are starting to see quite a few people wearing them.

I don't know the secret of how they stay on and yes they do look too big, but they are the most comfortable shoes I have.

I have never owned a pair due to the fact that I am vain. They are made just down the road from here. I am buying a pair for my daughter who is expecting. She had such a hard time with swelling during her last pregnancy, so I thought crocs would be more comfortable. But, I'll probably never own a pair. Again, vanity!
