A question about booking CRT

We can call tomorrow to get ADR's for CRT, if I can get thru in time.
My questions are these:
Do they charge your CC when you make reservation?
Can you use 2 different CCs?
My FMIL wants to pay for theirs and us to pay for ours, if they can even do it that way.
If you can't use 2 CCs, can I make the ADR's for my family & then call later and add my FMIL and FFIL?

Can anyone also tell me, is CRT the only ADR you have to prepay?

you do not get charged for the reservation, only if you miss the reservation... and you can cancil 24 hours prior I do believe

If you are using DDP they will ask for a credit card to hold the reservation, but wont charge. I booked last October, and was not using the dining plan for it and I was charged for it that week. I just booked the Spirit of Aloha dinner at the Poly and was told by the CM that my card had been charged then and there. You might want to double check with others, but that was my experience.

Reggie is correct. CRT is handled just like a dinner show. You pay in full when booking unless on the Disney Dining Plan in which case a credit card is required for security (you'll be charged in the case of a no-show).

A couple of other locations will take a credit card as a security but will only charge a minimal amount ($10 per person) in case of a no-show. This includes California Grill and Princess Storybook at Akershus. The Fantasmic Dining Package also does this I believe.

I would doubt you could use 2 credit cards on 1 ADR. that's not Disney's problem. let your in-laws pay you back in cash or you'll have to find another arrangement. You should be making 1 ADR for everyone (assuming you wish to sit together - plus just because you can secure 1 ADR doesn't mean you'll be able to secure another).
