Growing up in a family of Disney enthusiasts (aka fanatics) I am taking my husband on his first Disney trip this June. Last month I realized he had never seen the Swiss Family Robinson movie. I considered this essential to his enjoyment of the tree house and promptly added it to our Blockbuster list.

Now I am wondering what other movies he has never seen that would make the parks more fun for him.

So here is my question, what movie do you think makes the parks more fun and for what attraction?

Thanks for the help.

There's probably hundreds of movies out there, but there's a few I would like to recommend:
1. Finding Nemo(mine, mine, mine,lol)
2. All the Pirates of the Caribbean movies
3. Mary Poppin
4. Cinderella(definitely)
5. Lion King
OMG, I think I have included mostly cartoons, right? He will not regard it watching them. I assure you. popcorn::

Those are great ideas. I already got him to watch Mary Poppins with me. I want to buy Fantasia but I don't think you can buy it new on DVD right now can you? Oh and Dopeynme, I love your Dopey's!. My mom is a huge Dopey fan!

Love your idea for movies! I LOVE Swiss Family Robinson! I think another good movie for him to watch would be Toy Story and Toy Story 2.

As far as getting Fantasia on DVD is concerned, check your local Walmart or even Target. They often have some of the 'older' Disney movies on DVD.

Good luck finding it! :)

Fantasia DVD has been OOP for a few years now, so its not very likely you could find it @ Walmart or Target. And I checked both NetFlix and Blockbuster.com and Fantasia is not available for rental.

Swiss Family Robinson is an excellent movie.

A few movies will be harder to find because they were sent "back to the vault", just to warn you. Besides Fantasia, this also includes Cinderella and Lion King.

Treasure Island thats what I was trying to remeber, for some reason that gives more of a feeling of POTC then the Movie It self. There Is also a sing along/Musical VHS out there that I bought for my DS It kind of gives a walk through Disneyland through Music of Disney and the Disney Chacters but my DS love It.

Treasure Island is a good one. The voice of Disney's Peter Pan, Bobby Driscoll, plays Jim Hawkins.

I checked my library and they seem to have several Treasure Island movies. Which is the 'correct' - or best - one?

if you want a certain disney dvd it is wise to check out ebay or my fav half.com. People sell their old ones or brand new ones.

hmm...PoTC

Peter Pan

Cinderella

Snow White (snow white's scary adventure)

Little Mermaid

Toy Story 1n 2

Peter Pan

Nemo

Bug's Life (Its Tough to be a bug)

Honey I Shrunk the Kids (Honey I shrunk the audience and if you plan on going into the soundstage)

hmm....and I'll just say Lilo and Stitch because it's my favorite and if you plan on seeing Stitch attraction.
