Okay all, I am back. It seems everyone wants to see the loot. I am more than happy to share. Now I am sure you all have gathered Robbie (DH) already thinks I have flipped my lid, with all this Disney planning. However he gave me a very interesting look when I broke out the camera to take pics of everything I had bought and my b-day gifts. He is learning not to ask, I think it makes him feel better if he can pretend I am not taking pictures of sunscreen.

I will start with my loot that I have purchased, I must think that I need a whole new wardrobe to go to Disney, because I really have went crazy in the shopping department.

First up we have pic #1 of new necessities:

This is only part of my loot. I didn’t post the bottoms or what I purchased for Robbie. He wouldn’t let me buy anything fun for him. He is strictly against wearing a Disney tee. He “thinks” he is too cool for that.

Next up: My birthday Disney Loot…What is the one item I got that I said I would never use? (Before this trip)…Did Robbie give into the Disney magic and make it a Disney birthday? All this and more in my next edition.

I really wanted to name our little girl kitty Hermione but DH was against it. Jerk. Then I tried for Ginny. He didn't like that either. So we named her Ruby....short for Rubeus Hagrid. Yep, it's a reach but it makes me feel better.

I love Ruby!!! I think it's a really great name. Hagrid is Robbie's favorite character. As far as Hermione's name goes Robbie, just humors me most of the time however he did decided to nickname her Hermie.

Thank you, I think it is my favorite bathing suit that I have ever owned. I am resisiting the urge to go swimming to use it but I know I should keep it for the trip.

I feel so special!! My other cat is named after Sulley because his fur puffed out just like Sulley's from Monster's Inc when he was kitten except he was orange not blue.
DH will watch the Harry Potter movies with me but I can't convince him to read the books. I just heard that they are pushing the next movie and it won't come out until July 2009. BOO!

I really want to take the tags off there lol; I know it doesn’t make much sense. I am not sure how well I am doing with it, because there are a few things that I really want to use, but I am fighting temptation

DH will watch the Harry Potter movies with me but I can't convince him to read the books. I just heard that they are pushing the next movie and it won't come out until July 2009. BOO!

DH likes the movies but he won't commit to reading a book as long as those are either. However with the last 3 books he ever so graciously read the last few chapters of each one so he could do everything in his power to deliver spoilers to my ears.

I had literally put my figures in my ears and start singing that "found a peanut" song at the top of my lungs not to hear him.

Thank you! I got it at Torrid.com, I usually don't order clothes online because I am extremely picky about the way that things fit. But it was retailed at like $78.00 and I got it on sale for $26.00 so I just held my breath and prayed. IT works like a charm though.

This is the first thing that I have bought from them. They were great to deal with, but I think that they are kind of expensive if you can't catch their stuff on sale, maybe I am just really cheap.

The One with Disney Birthday Magic:

Hi Everyone!

For my birthday this year which was a couple of weeks ago. Robbie and I went out to dinner with my BFF and her fiancé. Being the birthday girl I got to choose the restaurant and I chose Allison’s, which is my favorite restaurant. It’s a shabby chic type restaurant. It doesn’t look like a whole lot from the outside, but they have the best food around here. I love their baked potato soup!

Well to my surprise when Robbie and I arrived BFF had asked for a table out on the patio, in the back and she had set up a table full of surprises.

She said that she got the castle bag because I would be seeing a very special castle soon. She made Disney themed cupcakes, and isn’t the table cloth great. I have to admit I saved it. I can’t believe that Robbie didn’t spill the beans about all this. Most of the time he can’t wait to tell me something that he knows.

He got me Mickey Crocs because I had been debating about trying them for the parks. I am one of those people who said never will I wear crocs. However I had developed quite a fondness of the pink Mickey head crocs and he said that he knew I really liked them. And guess what, I love them. They are so comfortable and even though my feet look huge in them, I just adore them. He got me a steering wheel cover with Mickey on it and floor mats for my car for our trip. And last but not least he surprised me with Enchanted. This has become one of my all time favorite movies. Tinkerbelle must have sprinkled some pixie dust all around him because he was so excited about his gifts. And I was too! I almost cried he was so thoughtful. I kid about him a lot but he really is the best. I am so lucky to have him.

They got me the Mickey. Robb won me the Minnie out of a claw machine when we first got together. Minnie is a bit bigger than Mickey but that’s okay because she is just happy to have Mickey back.

BFF, her DF and another friend who couldn’t make it that night got me a beach bag full of useful stuff for longing around the pool. I’m not sure why I don’t have a pic of it. It also had the pink Minnie shirt from my loot report in it and it had this…….

An Ariel beach towel!!!!! I love this!!!!!

I know that this is not Disney related but it is also a gift from BFF. In the beginning of my report I told you all that I loved anything old Hollywood. My guest bedroom/office is themed in old Hollywood. My BFF knowing this found me a canvas print of Audrey Hepburn. I just adore it!

My parents weren’t able to come that night but we had dinner with them later and I forgot my camera at home. My mom and dad were great in keeping with the vacation theme to my b-day as well. They got me, a new pair of New Balance running shoes for the parks, a $25 gift card to Red Lobster for our trip, and a pair of PJ’s that reminds me and mom of 101 Dalmatians.

Here are the PJ’s – My mom knows me so well I love them, and then she told me she bought her a pair as well.

I had a very good birthday. I feel extremely blessed that I have people in my life that care enough about me to try and make everything perfect. Hope you all enjoyed my Disney Birthday Treasures.

I have seen your name on ariel2007 TR and now I finally "get" your name!!! Can you tell which books I have just finished?! I discovered the Twilight series a few weeks ago and consumed them!! So now my daughter is reading them and we can't wait to go see the movie!
Have a great trip to Disney! You are going to have so much fun. I had to laugh when I saw your Moleskin package, we loaded up on that too. I have also read the not so good reviews for Sci-Fi but we enjoyed it, just the atmosphere is worth going. It's fun to get a light-up ice cube for your drink. I'll watch for your report....
