i am so excited. i am in the planning stages of my first trip to the world with my 3.5 year old daughter, and i am not normally a huge planner but i am becoming obsessed. this is a birthday trip for her fourth birthday. i have spoken with a travel planner and will book in august when the new rates come out, cannt book ADRs until October. not sure about fly or drive yet. experienced disney travelers please post any recommendations. we are going to stay at POP(6days/5 nights) and do the DDP since it is so cheap for my daughter, so i have really planned out meals.

so the plan is as follows (long days being late nights w/ fireworks)
2/8 check in, either putt putt at fantasia gardens or downtown disney or play at the hotel and then dinner ADR at chef mickeys

2/9 MK day (long day-DD way into princesses)
BBB at opening followed by breakfast at CRT
then rides ect, and a return to the hotel for nap/food
return later for more rides then dinner at cosmic rays and fireworks

2/10 AK day (short day-DD way into animals)
Tuskerhouse ADR for breakfast with donnald
rides ect and meal at Yak + Yetis
return to hotel for dinner

2/11 MK day (short day)
breakfast at the Mainstreet Bakery
rides, parade, ect
hotel for nap and food
rides, ect
dinner at harbour house

2/12 epcot day (long day DD way into animals/fish/Nemo)
breakfast at Boulangerie Patisserie
world showcase
nap/rest
Coral Reef ADR
future world
fireworks

2/13 DHS (not a lot for DD, she isnt really into playhouse disney)
check out of hotel
breakfast at Starring Rolls
rides
lunch flat bread grill
parade
leave WDW

:confused3

well it looks like i am going to have to bump it back a few days and wil run right into presidents weekend. not a good thing. pre planning is stressful, but fun!

well lots of updates. we are booked at POP 2/10-2/15 with the DDP. i have purchased flights out of Detroit and we will arrive at 1145am on 2/10 and leave POP at 830 am on 2/15. ADRs are made and i am trying my best to save the money so i can pay in cash when my balance is due at the end of Dec. so far i have $400 left to go. the plans so far are as follows

2/10 - arrive, DHS, have a 620 ADR for Chef Mickey but not sure if we are going to keep it or just do CS or Sci Fi or Prime Time

2/11 - MK, 805 ADR @ BBB and 200 ADR @ CRT, DTD in the evening or mini golf

2/12 - Epcot (late start, have to have one day to sleep in), 500 ADR @ coral reef

2/13 - AK, 805 ADR @ Tusker house, may do Yak and Yeti or Boma (but i dont really want another buffet) if we dont do TS on arrival day

2/14 - MK 1100 ADR @ Crystal Palace, Wishes and Spectro

2/15 - check out

now that i have booked the flights i am just relaxing and done planning for awhile (sort of) and just enjoying the thought of our first family trip together.

Your trip sounds great! I have taken my daughter to disney every year since she was 4. She is almost 10 now. We love our trips together. You are going to have such a magical time. Your daughter's the perfect age right now to introduce disney! We loved POP too, it is so much fun for kids.

She is going to love BBB! :goodvibes

thanks for reading. some people think i am crazy for taking DD alone so young. but i think she is at the perfect age for a magical trip and i figure we do everything here alone so why would a vacation be any different.

new day, new dilema! well now DD wants to be Aurora not Cinderella at BBB. so i am bidding on ebay for an aurora dress but now i wonder if i should sell the cindy dress or plan on her wearing two outfits at WDW. also dinsey.com has cute shirts and such on sale now so i am wondering if i should plan special outfits for each park or if it is going over the top. i could definantly make them all christmas presents but i dont want christmas and birthday to be all disney. what to do, what to do.
