A Pre Thanksgiving/Christmas Vacation, Our First Split Stay & Our 5th Trip to Disney!

Should I be worried that it is still in the upper 80's/low 90's in Orlando???

I know we have 5 weeks to go, but still!

We were really hoping for upper 70's/low 80's!! :wizard:

Hi Shelly,
I wouldn't worry! We went at the beginning of November in 2006, and it was just how you want it- upper 70's/low 80's! I think that it really cools off through October--I'm not a meteorologist or anything, but that's what I think!
And since you asked (:rotfl:) we are surprising DD8 on Christmas morning by popping in the WDW planning DVD the night before and having Santa write her note to put on the TV and press play on the DVD player. I hope she gets it:rotfl: I think she will...I will let you know how it goes!

Thanks for the weather report, that's just what we are hoping for. DH hates it when we are down there and it is so hot and humid you can hardly breathe. But we are hoping it's a little warmer than January.

Oh that sounds like a neat surprise. :goodvibes Hopefully she will get it! My boys probably wouldn't. But then you saw all the clues we had to give them before they finally got it and even then they thought it was a joke. :confused3:rotfl:

Shelly--
while FL and SC are a bit further apart- growing up it never got cool/chilly/cold in SC until Halloween.
I wouldn't worry at all.

Last year while we were at wdw for Halloween- remember I said we froze to death? It was so dadgum cold I was miserable. 50's and raining. yuck.

2006 halloween was just perfect- mid 70's - low 80's. I think you'll be okay.

It definitely will not be May.:snooty:

J~

Oh yeah- and Humidity will be waaaaaaaaaaaaay down.

Well let's just say that Disney does not sell 3 packs of men's underwear like they do women's and children's. They only sell boxers - one for $20!! :scared1:

So did you just buy him 1 pair for the week? ;)

Hey, you better watch out...your husband talked about his lack of drawers to one of those procrasinators and warm PB people! :lmao: And I'm disorganized, too!

Once again, I say, "Disorganized Procrasinators Unite!" The meeting will be sometime, and I'm not sure where we'll meet. I'll work on it later! :rotfl2:
Not disorganized too...oh the horror! :lmao: I think it's time for an intervention! We'll force you to eat room temp PB while packing for your trip months ahead in an orderly fashion. :stir:

Just getting some things ready to pack~

I forgot about that cold rainy weather you ran into last October. Yuck! Hopefully that was just a fluke. That sounds much like the weather here today! :sad2:

We had 50's in January, but it never rained a drop!

So did you just buy him 1 pair for the week? ;)

Um. . . well no. . . he's too cheap! And he doesn't wear boxers.(TMI, I know ;)) Good thing it was chilly when we were there and we ran the heater every night in the hotel room because he hand washed his only pair of drawers and hung them to dry over the heater at night! :rotfl:

We'll never forget that!! :lmao:

Bulldog urination schemes!! :rotfl: And commando chafing!:rotfl:

All week??

I'm surprised he didn't have road rash.

Yes, DH retired that pair after the week they had. :rotfl:

Hi Shelly! Great PTR. I just caught up!

Better late than never... :rolleyes1

Those lanyards are too cute, and I love their little fanny packs. LOL.

Adorable. :goodvibes

I was thinking about getting us lanyards and starting pin collecting. But, I heard it's ridiculously addictive.

And expensive :scared:

Hi RF...I don't mean to butt in, but you can get good deals on pin lots on ebay. That's what I did, because I didn't care what they were...we were just going to trade them anyway! I think I paid about $1.89 or something close, per pin, including shipping. Not too shabby!

Good morning. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! :goodvibes

My baby is 8 today. party: It's kind of happy and sad at the same time. Where has the time gone? I want him to stay my baby forever!!!! :sad1:

In other news. . . . .

We are going to DISNEY in 5 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

Glad you could make it! :goodvibes I know you've been very busy lately.

Pin trading is lots of fun!!

I have been looking on ebay this week. The boys have bought/traded pins for a few years now and they finally like all the pins they have. Which is great, but also means they don't have any to trade. So I am hoping to pick up some cheap ones on ebay and surprise them with them shortly before we leave!!:wizard:

Oh my... the things that are talked about.... I missed alot being away a few days.... well Shelly I am impressed that your luggage has made it upstairs... I leave in a week and still no luggage... I do have to check ours out though because our kittys peed on them before... mostly they are very good... but every once in a while... mostly its just DH hunting clothes they pee on.... lol... I keep telling him if he didn't always try to scare the poor things and make them jump they would not pee on his stuff!!!

I ordered my water for delivery to the hotel last night... with all the talk on some other threads about it not being delivered I am keeping my fingers crossed....

Your boys laynards are very nice!!! Mine don't trade any more but they do collect some...
