Oh, I am praying and thinking of your beautiful horse. You have had her since she was a baby. I know how much you love her. Let's hope she gets better soon and you have many more years together.
Thank you for all the prayers.
I am so tired. Spent all night with her giving anything I could think of. She has a strong heart and is fighting as hard as me. I can only hope maybe we have gotten over the worst. Thanks again.
I had horses growing up and I remember staying up all night sleeping in the stable next to one of them when he was sick. He turned out OK and hopefully your horse will be OK too
I almost lost one of my geldings about 4 years ago. The situation was so dire, in fact, that he was completely down and the vet informed me that he would never be getting back up again. But instead of saying my goodbyes, as the vet suggested, I hugged him and talked to him for hours and begged him to keep fighting. I fell asleep outside his stall door on a bed of hay and woke up the next morning to not only find him standing, but drinking (which he hadn't done for days). He recovered miraculously, completely and fully. There was no explanation except that he decided he was going to stay.
Hang on to her with both hands... my prayers are with you both....
This is the first day that has been good in over a week. Now I'm a little optimistic. A pinch. Drugs are really kicking butt!!! She has lost SO much weight but that can be fixed. She is alive and I'm so happy, so happy. Thank you for all the prayers.

Thanks for telling me, I always like to personalize the prayers, Pahsu is beautiful. My mare is Maxine...she came with the name and since she can be a little like the Hallmark greeting card "Maxine" every month or so I kept it...thought you could use a little chuckle about now.
Thanks for the update! I was hoping Pahsu had pulled through.
My mare is going on 30 years old and has had a few health problems the past couple of years. I started her on a scoop of powdered Bute twice daily and now she is acting like a young horse again. It is such a relief to see her pain free and feeling good.
I will continue keeping Pahsu in my prayers and hope she will have a rapid recovery. BTW, I love her name!
