A POLE Dancing Escort!!!!!Rosies Free Trip update WE ARE BACK 10/20

Thanks Ellen this will be a huge help!!! Will make the waits so much less !!Do you have to get one for each park??? Or if you have one is it good for all 4 parks for the duration??

Mornin' Rosie!!

I hope that pass will be helpful- we think of that pass as the Golden pass- takes away the stress and makes the vacation PERFECTION! It does make the waits so much less. SOOOOO much less.

You get one pass, good in all parks, for the length of your stay. Remember when you are picking them up at Guest Services to tell the CM all of the accomodations the consumers may need-

If you follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread, post #6 is all about Guest Assistance Cards.
It is printed right on the card that it is not meant to provide immediate access or shorten waits. It also says that "Additional waits may be incurred at certain attractions due to the need for a special vehicle or other operational concerns."
This can be because there are many people ahead of you with special needs - for example, we recently came back from WDW. Because DD uses a wheelchair and can't walk, we need to use the accessible entrance to Dumbo. Our wait was as long as if we had been able to wait in the regular line because there were a lot of people ahead of us in the accessible line.

Many people have posted that a tour plan, like TourGuide Mike, is more helpful to them than a GAC. The GAC will only help with waits for attractions, but if the park is busy, it may be too much stimulation for some guests just to get around the park. Touring plans like TourGuide Mike help you to be in the least busy part of the least busy park, which will help with things like waits for restaurants, waits for bathrooms and just getting around.

Thanks for the link !!Due to medications most of them need to stay out of the sun for extended periods of time so that will be one thing I ask for on the GAC card, also anxiety, impatience etc can be a real concern , and a cou[le have ambulation problems that may make getting on some rides such as the clams at The Seas very difficult So I know what to ask for now Thanks very much !!I understand we may not go to the front of the line, but waiting somewhere in the shade will be great!!

Less than a week to go :banana:

Sounds like a great day at MK. We've only eaten at Yak & Yeti and Flame Tree at the AK so can't offer on advice on what you've suggested. We LOVE the Safari--better than being at the zoo.

I've eaten at Y&Y, FTB, Pizzafari (the Hot Italian ):rotfl2: TH breakfast when it wasn't TH,so this will be a change !!!

Tumble monkeys, mmmmmm

Have a great trip Rosie. I will warn WDW that you are coming. :rotfl2::rotfl2: Too bad I leave the day before you arrive.

On the Road back to the happy place now. Just popping in to say hi.:wave2:

Hi Rosie, I loved the theming at Restorantosaurus. But if you want to head to FotLK after lunch, Pizzafari really is on your way to there as well, so it would still make a lot of sense. :goodvibes

In order to get from DHS to Downtown Disney, I would advise not to take the boat from DHS. I find it rather a slow method of transportation. Looking at a map of WDW, I would suggest a bus to Pop (or CBR, but there you have the many internal bus stops) and then bus to DD. Pop is halfway between DHS and DD. If you take the boat, the first stop is the Swan & Dolphin where you would have to go through the hotels in order to find the bus stop (it appears that for the Swan the exit is on the same level which you come in from, but for the Dolphin, you get in at first floor, but would have to exit on third floor). The second stop is Yacht and Beach Club and then the third stop is Boardwalk. Here you would also have to go throught the lobby in order to get to the bus stops and I would suggest to look at a map of the hotels before you go on that trip if this is your plan.

You're welcome! From all what I have heard, POP transportation sounds like it is really good, so I really think that this is your best choice - no finding your way through unknown hotels involved. That might be fun with a small group, but not with your co-travelers, I would think. :goodvibes

Yes at POp you just get off and go to the DTD stop !! Unless anyone has to go to the bathroom of course :lmao:That is another concern as they have a tendancy to wait until the HAVE to go to say anything :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey Rosie, I just got a text from Marv, and he says he has had a very busy weekend with a Parent's Weekend at his son's school, but hopes to be back soon with us! He says he is well aware that you have mere days left. ;)
